This is a Doctrine & Covenants daily inspiration book.
I've been using this book as my daily scripture study guide and it's the best & easiest (meaning I've been able to be consistent with my scripture study for the longest time) program I've ever followed. Each date has a verse (or a few verses) of scripture followed by quotes on the same topic by a church leader or scholar and additional scriptures to look up for cross-reference. I make sure I look up the scriptures so I'm actually studying my scriptures and not just reading a book about the scriptures. It's easy to keep track of where I am because I should be on today's date and it keeps me honest if I skip a day.
Love this! I just bought the Book of Mormon version of the same book and can't wait to start it. Hooray for consistency!

Great thoughts for every day of the year. This book pulled from GAs past and present.....with stuff I'd never seen before. Easy and enjoyable read.
