Shadow by author Marteeka Karland is the tenth book in the Bones MC series. I have not read any of the other books in this series and I was not lost. But this is only an 8-chapter story so if you wanted more details about the world and relationships I would recommend starting at the beginning of the series.

I loved this story. It is action-packed and full of steamy love.

Shadow is the rock of his club. He is the silent off to the side blending into the background guy. He likes it that way too. He is capable of destroying anyone in his way, but he silently waits for the right time.

Millie: she could probably take Shadow in a fight. She is tough, smart, and has a weakness for her family.

I loved these two together they have a lot in common. This is a grittier read but well worth picking up. If you like a great MC Biker story this is the one to pick up.

Mmm!

I really wanted the focus to be on Shadow and Millie, but their relationship seemed more of an after thought. The focus of the book was more on the sisters and the rescue. I have to say after waiting for Shadow’s story I was disappointed. Shadow is still one of my favorite characters, I just don’t think the author did him justice and put any effort into his story as she did previous books.

Ms. Karland creates a heroine like no other. Millie is such a complex character, I was unable to see how she and Shadow would work. I found the relationship crafted into a meshing of two strong people who learn to give and take in equal measures. I highly recommend the writing of Ms. Karland and the story of Shadow and Millie.

I loved the fact that this book involved a complex maze. That it took place in Russia. That there was a complex family dynamic between Venus and Millie. For a short book, there were a lot of layers. Shadow made for a great hero, strong and deep yet with his own flaws to overcome. I really enjoyed reading this book.

I have been looking forward to Shadow's book. I liked the characters and plot. There were a few good twists and turns plus action. I wish it had been just a bit longer with more info after they got back to the States.

I truly enjoy this one. I was actually waiting for it on auto book However I was glad to listen to it on Kindle. I’m so happy to see the shadow now he had a love interest, but someone who understood his past and can help him with his future.

This is the 10th Bones MC book and we finally get to meet Shadows match! I loved it, Millie and Shadows book is awesome you feel the chemistry from the start, even with planning to save her little sister Katya and even though they both have problems it’s not hard to finish this book and want more.

Marteeka Karlands books just get better and better the more you read them. Your missing out on an excellent author if you don’t read this one and the others in her most excellent MC series.

Shadow has met his match in Millie! She's fierce as h*l^ and Shadow seems to love it. The back and forth between these two is about as intense as the chemistry between them. Millie is Venus's sister and together with Shadow they have a job to do IF the sisters don't kill each other first. Lol. Shadow is an excellent fast paced story with lots of excitement, danger and of course plenty of 🔥🔥🔥

Be prepared to sit on the edge of your seat wondering what will come next. This is an absolutely invigorating journey to go on with Shadow and Millie. I loved every second of this story.
