This is a shorter read with a lot of adventure packed between the pages. Trena sets out on a trip to Yellowstone with Ronnie, an elderly gentleman. This is her first big adventure since badly injuring her leg in a hiking accident. They meet Gavin who is a wanderer living in his van. He also works a job from his van. He knows the good sites in Yellowstone and wants to show them to her. These are likable characters and you easily get pulled into their story. A wonderful read! I received an advance copy of this book from the author, however, I voluntarily wrote an honest review. All opinions are strictly my own.
Regina Walker's latest, Yielding in Yellowstone, is a sweet, clean, fun romance that will take you on an adventure. Trena wants to see more of the world than her job in a bookstore in small town Oklahoma offers. Once in Yellowstone, she meets Gavin, a fellow traveler who has been wandering for quite a while. Trena wants adventure, but she also wants to put down roots. These characters are true to life and face real problems. I enjoyed getting to know the characters in this opposites attract story. I highly recommend this sweet romance!
Gavin travels around in his van, loves traveling around and seeing the sites, especially Yellowstone. (He's not a bum, he does have a job also). Trena had a terrible hiking accident, and her leg that was damaged still gives her a lot of pain. It has left her a little afraid of life, but she is willing when Ronnie, an elderly family friend, wants her to go to Yellowstone with him. There she meets Gavin and is not sure what to make of him. This is a fun journey, see how they help each other and build something together.
A trip to Yellowstone with a friend She meets a man - but he is a wanderer . . . and she is a homebody. This is a lovely story!! I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All thoughts and comments are my own.
It is great that this series takes you on an adventure with each story. Trena needs a break from the bookstore and to overcome her fears. She sets off for Yellowstone with Papa Ronnie to have an adventure. At a little Cafe they meet Gavin for the first time. There is an instant attraction, but what will follow will be a journey to behold. Delightful! I was given an ARC of this book by the author for an honest review.
Another sweet story by Regina! I was so happy to see my favorite fella, Papa Ronnie, (from Picking Pears with Piper) back for another, bigger appearance when he goes to Yellowstone with Trena! Being the “grandpa” figure in her life, he plays matchmaker with her and Gavin, a wanderer of sorts. Will the rooted Trena find love with the adventurous Gaven? Will they be able to tie their two world for a forever kind of love?
Loved this opposites HEA. A wonderful sweet story about Gavin and Trena meeting while on vacation in Yellowstone. Gavin loves to travel all around the United States and Trena prefers being close to home. Hold on while you see two opposites explore this feeling of love and figure out how to compromise to reach their HEA. I definitely recommend this sweet clean story. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. The whole series I’ve read so far has been great.
I enjoy a sweet romance any day. I loved how the main character steps out of her comfort zone and tries new things. The story is attention getting from the beginning and thought the approach to this story spot on. Just a good read that has the bonus of most the story set in Yellowstone.
I love road trips and Ronnie and Trena travelling from Oklahoma to Yellowstone certainly counts as one. I love an adventure as much as anyone but Trena may want one, but she was really not prepared for one. Luckily, she meets Gavin, who is prepared. I enjoyed this book and wish them well.
