Help comes in all shapes and sizes, and for Kingston and Skylar, it comes in the form of dreams, sinister whispers, and the cutest little girl you ever did see. Too bad she’s dead and has her sights set on Skylar to be the perfect playmate in her afterlife.

Skylar has been waiting so patiently for his shot with Kingston, but the gentle giant has no idea how to handle the vivacious man. While Kingston and Skylar learn more about themselves and each other, things unseen are brewing from their visit to Beckoning Pond months ago. It'll take a little—or a lot—of help from their families, both of origin and by choice, to free them from a spirit’s temper tantrum and bring peace once again to the beachtown of Willowhope.

In Whispering Fields, Kingston and Sky finally get their HEA, but it won’t make sense without first reading Beckoning Pond. The Secrets of Willowhope are fun and lighthearted reads, and like all Sammi Cee books, heartwarming. There’s only a touch of creepy in the books in this series, so if you’re looking for horror, I can promise you, this isn’t it.

Sammi Cee was raised in a family of readers. Summer vacations consisted of a good book while sitting lakeside from as far back as she could remember. After growing up and having her own children, her appreciation of how the written word could transport you on an adventure, bring you to tears, or give you hope, took on a whole new meaning.

These days Sammi is watching her children develop into fine young ladies while doing the things she enjoys most: drinking coffee, eating chocolate, and writing her own stories.

I now have the missing chapters, and we do get a complete story. The dream thing is amazing, and I hope we get other books to see that again. It was so short, it so needed more pages. You don't see them grow as a couple, it just ends on kiss. I need more!

This was so not what I expected. It is super short and not much happens. We just see Kingstons dreams and some scenes with his Gran. I do loved Kingston & Skyler, I can't wait to see their relationship bloom! They are just adorable. Kingston grandmother is a hoot. The book does end abruptly and it leaves you wondering what happened. Where is rhe rest of the story?! (My book originally only had 32 pages and had half the story. I'm happy to say that I now have all 57 pages.)

Dreams

Yay, Sky gets his King! I really enjoy this series. It has mystery, a little creepy, and a whole lotta love. Found families are the best and the Willowhope one will make you smile.

“Kingston stomped his foot. I’d only thought he couldn’t get any cuter, but over six and a half feet of man throwing a temper tantrum like a three-year-old…yeah, adorable.”

I always think Kingston is cute but personally Sky is the adorable one. Bubbly, sunny and the perfect partner for Kingston. I’m bouncing up and down that they found their way together and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we will visit Willowhope again as I always need more of this world.

Any book coming after something amazing always has a lot to live up to. Happy to report, the third installment of this series lived up to it. I really enjoy the way Sammi writes paranormal stories, like they're part of our world and just a select few can access them.
As for our couple, I'm glad Sky and King got their shot at the limelight. I do wish the story was a tad longer, it could have done with a bit more development to the plot, but isn't that the way of a well crafted world? And maybe an epilogue would have been good too. There's more stories to be told in this town, and of this couple in particular, and I do hope Sammi gives us more of them.

I'm so happy that Kingston and Sky get their own story, though it's quite a short one! They've been teased as a possible couple in previous books and here they have the chance to become more whilst also taking on new information about what they are and who they could be for each other.
I've really enjoyed this series so far. Sammi is a wonderful paranormal writer. The tension seeps through the story and characters, adding that something extra to the plot. It's great to finally meet Kinston's gran, who has some surprises of her own to bring to the group. I felt for Kingston as he just has a lot of information dumped on him in one go but it quickly helps him to make sense of what he's been experiencing. Sky is happy at the chance to be closer to Kingston, something he's wanted since they've met,
It's a good short story but would definitely have been happier if it could have been longer. More explanation from gran would have helped both the reader and Kingston understand their abilities more, and it feels like a bit of a cliffhanger ending so I'm hoping for more from this in the future. The author still manages to convey the feelings that both men have for each other and the family bonds between Kingston and his gran.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review

Sky and Kingston were just too cute!

I love this series and I love that we got to see Sky and King have their HEA. I was super excited that this became a series and I’m so glad that what made the first book so great kept on throughout book two and three. As usual Sammi Cee managed to have the perfect blend of sweet and a little creepy with lots of warm fuzzies throughout. The found family is, as can always be expected, fantastic and the characters made me smile. The only thing I can complain about was that there wasn’t more of it! I adored these two and would have happily read a book twice this length. That being said, it’s a great length for an evening read where you want something that’s going to put a smile on your face.

Whispering Fields is the third book in the Secrets of Willowhope. I’ve been impatiently waiting for Skylar and Kingston to get a story, and what a story it was! Skylar is bright and sunshiny! Kingston is denying his attraction to Skylar. But when they finally get together, it’s magical! All the missing pieces have finally come together. My only wish was that it was longer! Overall, a fantastic read! Well written with fast pacing!

There was literally a bullet point list in place of a scene at one point. The denouement fizzled after what I considered to be a quite competent build up. I think the author just needed to give themselves more room for the woo woo part of the story, because the previous two books already established the cute chemistry. Also, rereading the previous books might have prevented a rather egregious continuity error (the house was not inherited).

Did I read half the book? It finished right after they wake up and Kingston decided he wants to date Skylar. What happened to little girl? Who was she? What about the grandma? Since it has been a couple of years it was published, I figure the author decided to stop the series? I’m quite disappointed since it’s the second series by the author that it seems to be abandoned (her RIPP series with Michele Notaro had a prequel and one book and it ended mentioning things that would happen in book 2).

I have loved the other two stories in this series. So was very excited to read Kingston and Skylar’s book. Having said that I feel a little sad, it seemed really rushed. I realise this was a novella but there were many questions left unanswered which is a shame. My hope is we can revisit them with a longer book in the future and a true finish for this group of characters.

I’ve been rooting for these two from the moment they met! 😀❤️
It was so good to see chance, jetty and the whole crew again but I’m so glad Kingston realized what he had in sky right in front of him! It was short and fast but still an amazing read! Sammi is amazing at what she does and I can’t wait for her to bring us more from this world! 😀❤️😀❤️

That's it?

This felt like half a story. Sky has been after Kingston from day 1. Kingston likes him back, but is super shy. Why didn't Sky make a move?

Finally, something happens to break Kingston out of his rut.

We find out more about Kingston's family, but the guys don't even have a proper chat with each other. The vision isn't resolved either.

Great story

This is the third story in this series and it should definitely be read in order. This is Kingston and Sky’s beginning and hopefully the start of at least one more story that I absolutely can’t wait for. I really enjoyed this.

...It was cute for what it was but... where is the rest of the book? theres literally no explanation for anything and I feel like it just cuts off with no warning. Such a miss compared to the other 2. So disappointed in this and it was the one I was lookong forward to the most.

Short and Paranormal

I loved seeing Kingston finally giving into Skylar. His overprotective nature and the dream walking definitely pushed him to take that next step. Hopefully we will get more of these two in the future along with how Kingston's visions play out.

Where's the rest?

This is a teaser, not a book. No real conflict. Definitely no resolution. No sex. I've enjoyed the series, but what happened here? I was excited to read about timid Kingston and spunky Sky. I hope they get a real book.

Good but too short.

This was a very, very quick read. Too short without any real resolution to the storyline. A lot more could have been done with it. It was still enjoyable.

A good side story

This felt kind of rushed, but still gives a goid story of how Kingston and Sky find their way to each other.

Good book

I liked the story but feel like I've been left hanging, like their story isn't finished. I hope that there will be another book.

I enjoyed this story but there are still a lot of questions left out there. I liked that Kingston was able to open his eyes to Skylar and hope there are more stories in the series.
