What if the world of your dreams became your worst nightmare?

Ethan Gower was just an average computer technician, enjoying his favorite online games with his friends. But one day, he wakes up in a strange new world, with no idea how he got there. With magic and monsters all around him, Ethan must quickly adapt to survive in this new reality.

As he gains new abilities and levels up, Ethan joins forces with other abductees to unravel the mystery behind their kidnapping and find a way home. But their journey is far from easy, and they soon find themselves at the center of a conflict that could spell disaster for their new home.

As if that weren't enough, a mysterious creature is hunting and killing wizards, and sucking out their brains. With danger at every turn, Ethan and his friends must band together to fight for their survival and uncover the truth behind their abduction.

Get ready for a thrilling ride through a world of magic and monsters in this action-packed LitRPG novel. With pulse-pounding battles, epic quests, and a cast of unforgettable characters, this book will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Can Ethan and his friends overcome the odds and find a way home before it's too late? Still having questions about the new world he's been dropped into, Ethan has more pressing concerns figuring out who or what is killing the wizards.
Unfortunately, the only source of those answers seems to be the members only library of the Order of the Scroll. Of course, he can join and read all the books he wants - but there's a catch.
The custodians of the library first want him to retrieve some lost tomes from an abandoned library in a ruined city. Seems simple, right? Not a chance. Did they forget to mention that no one who's entered the library has ever returned?
To make matters worse, Ethan almost kills himself learning a new type of magic, but it might just be the key to making it out of this crazy adventure alive.
Join Ethan and friends in the second exciting installment of the Abduction Cycles! Ethan and his companions have returned to Hawkshead, but all is not well. Something is scaring away the animals in the area and wreaking havoc on the village’s food supply.
The villagers call on Ethan and his friends to find the problem and deal with it. All clues lead the group to the old abandoned mine and the tomb which the former mayor uncovered. What sort of magic or monster could scare away the animals, and what traps may still lurk in the tomb's darkness?
When the tomb seals behind them, Ethan and the group have no choice but go forward into the depths and face whatever dangers lie at the heart of the tomb. But the tomb may no longer be empty, and its new residents don't appreciate trespassers.
Now they must use all of their abilities and magic to make it out alive, and Ethan may have to make the ultimate sacrifice to save his friends.

DNF read 2 of the 3 books and could not go on. It had it's moments but by the end of the 2nd book I just could not take anymore. Ok, so I do like crunchy litrpg but this was like Granola bar overcooked in the microwave crunchy. At times I was afraid this was going to turn into a harem book but the author managed to nudge the story away from crossing that line with some skill. The stereotypical tropes of dwarves wanting to drink and eat all the time was way way overplayed. In fact the repetition of several plot points was another thing that just made this such a slog.

2+. It was too "light" for my taste. Besides that the story felt like a series of quests and the protagonist _unreasonably_ overpowered.

Minor spoiler:

The "sex as mana potion" wrinkle got old really fast.
