Dark, but very interesting idea and story for the lesbian romance category. Reason it's a 4 star is because I hated all second parties involved, at least in the first few books I've read of hers, she typically has made some nice, memorable side characters that are there for their friends/family when they need them to be there for them. This, this had none of those redeemable characters. Alexa, can we at least make A side character that's not out to hurt, abuse, or target the main characters in some way. And does it always have to be old, white men that are the nefarious bad guys? Why couldn't it have been a twist at the end in that it was really the moms that were pulling their husband's strings all along? That woulld've made them at least better than the puppets to the white, old male masters cliche. Sure, some old white men are HORRIBLE creatures that deserve to rot in their own worlds, but not all men are equal.

Heartbreaking and Yet Heartwarming!
Alexa Woods has a storytelling mind so advanced, it makes us readers so very excited. This next book in the Arranged To Love series was another fast paced good one. A nineteen year old who was caught with another college girl together, is now being forced to marry a man in Europe as a business deal. A thirty three year old professor was blackmailed from the student she was sleeping with. Her father had to pay the money and in turn needed her to do something to help him. When these two women meet, sparks fly but both need something from the other to put in play a plan to end the prearranged marriage. Great story of falling in love with a twist.

Dark
The intimacy between the two characters was dark. Kayla just seemed a little off. I got real uncomfortable reading some of the scenes. She took Addies choice away from her and there was never in aftercare given to make sure she was okay. It could have been considered a little sadistic. The characters had a HEA. I would’ve liked more depth to the story. This wasn’t Alexa best work.

amazing
Love this 3rd installment, stand alone books. Alexa is truly a great writer who writes from the heart. Her characters a flawed, human and strong. Steamy scenes with great dialogues that keep you wanting more.

good book
I really enjoy Alexa Woods books. This one doesn’t fail. I have no idea where Ms. Woods get her ideas from but this one is interesting. A HEA from something that didn’t seem to work. But it did.
