Dogs hold the key to enlightenment... Mother Earth craves your menses... Bruce Springsteen can deliver you to the Promised Land... Your dog already lives there...
Dogs and Goddesses is a whimsical, adult romp to the well-imagined soundtrack of Bruce Springsteen. I happen to be familiar with one of the oft-mentioned locales in the story – specifically the park where our heroes meet, and have never seen it in quite the same light since. Segall- Anable expertly weaves a tale of three women, ordinary and not-so ordinary heroes, who meet and become friends as a result of their heaven-sent companions. Each woman is forced to take a stand on her inner compulsions, answering the question, “to free or not to free.” Add a dash of Hollywood insider tidbits and a juicy mystery, and this book will send you into unimagined places, expertly maneuvered by Anable.
Long live dogs, goddesses and Springsteen, and bravo to Segall-Anable for an unusual and compelling tale.
So not my cup of tea... Romance, craziness and an uninteresting plot. In all fairness, I may have bought the wrong book as there is another "Dogs and Goddesses" out there, written by other authors.
