You know how sometimes you are enticed to watch a movie just because the main actor is hot? That was me with this comic. I randomly saw a fanart of the main character on twitter and I thought "oh I *must* know more about this guy" (yes, I am shallow). Truly, the character design is gorgeous, and the winning feature of this comic. The plot is of the "bunch of powerful people all scheming against each other" type, with plenty enough mystery about who's plotting what to keep it compelling. There's plenty of dark stuff going on (I must issue various trigger warnings for sexual assault, incest, and general violence, though I assume the 16+ version of the comic has less of it than the 19+) but there's really funny moments too. If you're not squeamish, and especially if you've ever had an egyptology phase as a child, you'd probably enjoy this.
4.5⭐ I dove into it blind. I just wanted to read a manhwa/comics in between books, found this setted in ancient Egypt - and I love ancient Egypt - and just started to read it. And oh boy, what a read. The drawing is amazing, especially the parts that remind of the classic Egyptian style. And I love how the iconic animal head are been transformed in some sort of head-cover and we don't see the faces of most of the gods. The story is a retelling of the classic ancient miths, where the main characters are Seth, the evil God of desert (but why is evil is narrated in the comics), and Horus, the falcon demi-God. Forget about everything you know about the ancient gods od Egypt, this is another amazing way to discover them.
I've noticed that luckily I'm not the only one that was attracted just from the hot guys/women of this comic + (in my case) the Egypt mythology. but it was stupid of me to not get informed more about this before starting to read it. incest it's almost the less negative thing about the controversial things in this comic, rape it's almost every chapter and in every way... not only that. relationship in general here are fk up, there is maybe only a "normal" one and if I remember correctly they are related anyways so... if you want to start read it just know, the author HATES the main character. I'm still giving it a 3 stars because the characters are still BEAUTIFUL and I love the almost nonexistent but still there cute parts where the protagonist actually lives something normal.

Something that I normally don't read, but I love Egyptian mythology. This story has a very strong understanding over it. On top of that, I really appreciate the way that male SA victims are portrayed in this story.
