I was born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Wanting to escape life in a big city and concentrate more on working to live than living to work, I moved to the Outer Hebrides in the north-west of Scotland in 2004 and I have lived there ever since with my wife and dogs.
I write post-apocalyptic, sci-fi, dystopian and horror fiction. I’ve released fifty one books across six different series - Safe Haven, The End of Everything, Unsafe, Relentless, The Burning Tree and Scares in Scotland.
In addition, most of my titles are now available as audiobooks narrated by Kim Bretton, so if you’re one of the many people who struggle to find the time to read, you can listen on the go.

With a lot of series, it seems like the author keeps adding more books when they don't have anything new to write. This is definitely not the case with any of Mr. Artinian's books! This is book 11 in this series, which is closely linked to the "Safe Haven" series and they just keep getting better and better!
When this series began, Wren was the stronger/smarter/braver sister. However, by this time, her older sister, Robyn, has proven herself many times over. In this book, Robyn really comes into her own. As she says, "You never have to worry about dying alone when we're around." The reader is introduced to some interesting new characters and I especially look forward to more from Ephraim. It's always nice to have a slightly weird character to keep things interesting!
This is a fast-paced, action filled book from start to finish. In addition to the zombies, the girls have to fight Olsen's minions (which we learn are actually scarier than the undead!). I wanted to savor this book, but found myself reading faster and faster to see what happens. By the end, I was almost as exhausted as if it was me running from zombies and killing evil humans!
I also appreciate the fact that the author has written books featuring strong women characters with great love and compassion for their fellow survivors. This is very refreshing in a genre that (until recently) seemed to be focused mainly on the ex-military male heroes.
I can't wait to see what new troubles await Wren, Robyn and friends in future books. But, I'm impatient to see what happens, so get writing, Chris!
The End of Everything (Book 11) by Christopher Artinian and narrated by Kim Bretton had me by the edge of my seat for almost the entire book. This one is intense non-stop action and excellent narrating and writing. No ifs, ands, or buts- it’s a must-listen.
What’s this one about? The rescue plans from the last book continue, but things take an unexpected turn when Robyn makes a decision based off a conversation she had with her grandpa while he was drinking. Emotions run high for the sisters (and probably you too). Character development is strong, there’s intense non-stop action, new characters to spice it up, bad people, good folks, humor, friendships, enemies, and so on. Each sister shines alone and together. Kim’s narration is yet again fabulous. She nails the characters and puts emphasis in the right places. I know I’ve made it clear I love this series, but I feel I can’t state it enough. There was a time or two this book had me worried it really was the end.
This really isn’t a stand alone type of book or series for that matter. Recommend you start from the beginning or you will miss out on the how’s, who’s, etc. (not too mention the great writing and narration).
“I knew if there was anyone who could irritate someone enough that they’d rather go and hunt zombies than stay in the room with them, it’d be you.”
Parental guidance/trigger warnings: It’s the zombie apocalypse folks, think bad people, bad situations…death, killing, kidnapping, and so on. Language used: Fx1, Sx30.
*I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank you for allowing me to listen and review the book!
There are so many authors which come out with a best seller selling so many books that it goes up to their heads feeling Godlike, that they write a continuation to their masterpiece which is normally their downfall. But when it comes to the author Christopher Artinian there is no stoping him or his amazing imagination ! Three series’s Twenty four books and none have disappointed, truly an amazing author, his incredible style grabs you and makes it pretty much impossible to stop and take brakes. As usual a perfect narration by Kim Bretton with her beautiful voice !
The only hardship is waiting for more to come, it feels like cruel and unusual punishment, faulting nobody.
The End of Everything series is absolutely addictive and without a doubt recommended By me for all !!!
These books just get betterer. I was trying to make the story last but I was so engrossed I read it in one go. Can Olsen really change her spots? Yeh when roadworks become a thing of the past!!! And what is wrong with Bobbi? I really love the banter between George and Emphan, it had me bursting out with laughter. Wren, Bobbi and Mila make an amazing team with their swords, crossbow, bow and arrows. While Mila and the teenagers are fighting off flesh eating zombies, deranged Olsens and her minions, villages of people who won't or can't defend themselves are being held captive or killed. Another fantastic addition to this great series.
This series is amazing !!! The writer takes you to unimaginable places . People who are more monster like than the frigging zombies? You cant turn the pages quick enough to follow what's going on. I love that it's impossible to predict absolutely anything . I just hate that I have to wait for the next installment but I know that it will be worth it. I found this author after reading The burning tree series which is phenomenal. I then read Safe Haven with crosses over with this series The End of Everything. They're all brilliant compelling addictive reads and I would recommend them to anyone. So good I grabbed the audio books too.
Yet another fantastic rollercoaster ride that puts you through an emotional ringer, spins you out and leaves you hanging as the end creates another eagerly anticipated beginning of the end!
For those wanting a zombie apocalypse that focuses more on people than what make of rifle is being used, on seeing normal people grow into fierce warriors rather than trained soldiers just running round shooting everything, on strong females not female victims and on several separate stories that cleverly inter twine then this author is for you.
I really enjoyed book 11 of this series. The continuing saga of Robyn, Wren, and Mila was awesome. I appreciated the growth that the author has taken his characters through, which was emphasized in this new story. I liked the unity and solidarity between the three girls, that helps to keep them safe in this new and hostile world. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I recommend this series to others who enjoy this genre. Kim Bretton's narration was charming and engaged my interest in the tale. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.
I love this series but this felt like the longest journey from beginning to end. The travel from the dingy to the island with infected was bad enough but the villagers they rescued were ridiculous. They got rescued from the soldiers but didn't seem to want to fight for their lives. I felt like Wren and Robin were doing too much while trying this to fight large armies alone. They were putting themselves and each other in Jeopardy. George was spilling his guts to Robyn while drinking like it was the truth serum causing her to act wreckless. There was a lot going on here but they made it again.
Once again Artinian puts the readers through the wringer, sitting on the edge of their seats and holding their breath while reading this character driven, emotionally charged tale. Robyn, Wren and Mila have been through many horrific adventures and this is just another one that may or may not end well. Looking forward to the next addition to this great series, a must read for fans of the zombie genre.
What can I say that I haven’t said every time I mention this series and the wonderful narrator that is Kim Bretton…… nothing more and also everything! I think every person on the planet would live these characters. Every woman and girl would want to be one or be friends with one of these sisters. They are role models of compassion, love, trust, friends, family and just how to be good people This is the best zombie series ever!
This is a fantastic addition to the series. Mr. Chris does not disappoint. This book was a fast pace thrill ride from start to finish. Wow when the 4 are together it seems that they can handle anything. If you have not read this author, I highly recommend that you pick up his work, join his Facebook group, and leave your reviews!
Another fantastic book. From the first chapter you are totally submerged into a world of chaos and action. Wren, Robin and Mila at the heart of the chaos and causing havoc wherever they go. This book is filled to the brim with heart stopping moments, one liners and action. Cannot wait to read what happens next
I know it’s cliché to say that each book is better than the last but I’ve never seen two series that it fits more Kim perfectly brings these characters to life with her excellent narration once again This is one of those cases where the ratings actually reflect the product 5stars I received a free review audiobook and voluntarily left this review
Christopher Artinian never fails to write a terrific story. From moments of utter calm to moments of sheer anxiety causing terror, he takes the reader on a wonderful journey.
More more more, this series has me gripped. Every episode is a page turner, most series have dwindled off by book 11 but this just keeps giving, well done again Christopher please write faster I am awaiting the next episode. Thank You
Great addition to the series. I laughed, I cried, I cheered the girls on and I got pissed at Grandpa. WWMD! What would Mike do. Ready to see another villain get what she deserves!!!
Wow ! Once again I am transferred into another world. Mr Artinian's writing has the power to make you feel right there with Wren, Robyn and Mila. The tears, the anger and the fear become all too real. Another fantastic book, still going strong. Really looking forward to the next one.
What can I say book 11 and I'm still enthralled with this series. Action packed from the first page till the last . I couldn't put it down . Definitely read this and the safe haven series you won't be disappointed.
The personalities of Wren, Robyn and Mila shine through in this gripping action packed tale. There’s courage and redemption, suffering and small pleasures as they make their way to Safe Haven. An absolute gripper.
As always the girls have kept me amused, scared and on the edge of my seat. The love is always warm to the heart. The new characters did not disappoint and fit so well. Thank you for another great read!
I love this book series…along with the other Safe Haven series by Christopher Artinian! Give both series a try. You won’t be disappointed! Can’t wait for the next book!
Another rollercoaster of a book that keeps you on the edge of your seat and keeps you well and truly hooked. Full of emotion, suspense and twists and turns. Thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish and another great instalment of this epic series
Once again I was lost in the Highlands of north west Scotland are heroines once again back out there love the books love the story absolutely adore Wren series 1 Kick-Ass zombie slayer
If you are reading the reviews, just stop now and start the series. It will NOT disappoint! Every. Single. Book. Gets better and better. Christopher Artinian NEVER disappoints!!
My only sad is Mila and Robin will never be more than friends. But I love them. I love all 3 so much. I can't wait to read the next book. 12 books is impressive and well worth the dive.
Cannot wait until the next book comes out with the girls coming into Safe Haven.!! I slowed down my reading a little. But will be ready for their next adventure. I am excited to carry on with the girls until the end.!!🌹
