The world has changed since it was ravaged by disease many years ago. Fertile females have become a commodity.
Skye has been preparing for her Partner for the last two years. But nothing could have prepared her for the three men that want everything from her.
Deklan, Blaine, and Kamden have been through it all together, even war. Now they want a Partner that can make their house a home. Skye is the missing piece in their lives. And now that they have her, they will do whatever it takes to keep her.
But nothing is as simple as it seems, and sometimes the past comes back to haunt you.
South African author of romance with a dark side Mother, wife, animal lover, alcohol consumer... English, Afrikaans, and sarcasm are the only languages I understand.
Note: in the beginning there is a disclaimer stating that the book is fictional and any similarities to real people/events is coincidence but that's not true. Infertility caused by a vaccine that was rolled out to stop a virus in the year 2020? Very clearly a parallel to Covid and the current pandemic. This kinda put me off to the story in the beginning, because I prefer the book worlds I read about to not be similar to the current world(whether it be politics or historical events). I want my reading to take me away from all the darkness of the current world, not remind me of it further. I did not use this as a basis for my rating though. This is just a warning for people in case they're like me in their preferences.
First off, I want to say that this story has potential to be something really good. The premise of fertile women being matched with partners to increase births is really interesting. With more work, this story/setting could be great. The story as a whole is short and is great if you're looking for something you can finish in a couple hours. The spicy scenes probably rate a 3/5, not the best but not the worst I've read either(my only note for that is the author could use other words besides p*ssy and c*ck. They were repeated very often in the spicy scenes and it kind of was distracting).
When it comes to the characters, I didn't love them but I didn't hate them either. Skye was incredibly sheltered and this causes her to be very.... timid? Im not sure that's the right word but she is quite submissive and nervous about sex. Understandable, since the House of Fertility doesn't teach them about the basics of sex. But because of this submissiveness, as a character, she doesn't really stand out. There's nothing memorable about her. With a little fleshing out and more details, she could be better.
The last issue I have with the story is the main conflict seems to come out of nowhere. This woman just comes in and starts yelling at Skye saying she's in her house and that the guys are hers? And Skye just takes her word for it? Very confusing. Skye runs away and 4 months later comes back to the guys to tell them she is pregnant. Thats when they tell her that the woman(Lucy) was someone they wanted to spend their lives with before being partnered to Skye. But apparently Lucy was married already and the guys broke it off with her when they found out. This whole situation was very sudden and felt almost like it was added just to have a conflict/climax added to buff up the story as a whole. Lucy was not mentioned or eluded to before this.
I really wanted to love this story. I like the concept and who doesn't love a RH with three hunky guys devoted to one woman? But there is a lot of work to be done before it could be fully fleshed out. If you're looking for a quick read with some spiciness, I definitely recommend giving this story a go but I don't think I can rate it very highly just due to the issues I listed above.

Am I on a Jade kick? Yea…yeah I am. After reading The Partner Quandary I decided to come back and read the first book in this world. Skye finds herself partnered with not one but three hunky men. But starting a life and a family comes with challenges and they’ll have to work hard to build something beautiful.
I enjoyed this. I was a little bummed there was a “break up” considering this is such a short story but overall a cute read.
This short story unexpectedly turned out to be enjoyable reading. The book takes us into a post-apocalyptic world with a small percentage of fertile women. Every girl at least 16 years old is tested and if she proves to be fertile, she is obligatorily transferred to an institute where she learns how to look after children and the house. After the training period, each of them is assigned to the partner on the basis of tests guaranteeing the highest pregnancy probability. These women do not have any rights, they are the property of their assigned partner. Their only job is to increase the population. Sky is a terrified 18-year-old girl who has no idea that she has been assigned to 3 partners. Fortunately, Deklan, Blaine, and Kamden do not want a sex toy, but a woman who will be their companion and create a home with them. The story focuses mainly on the relationship between the characters. The sex scenes do not dominate the story. The action is flowing and the surprising twist is well integrated. This is my first book by this author and I think it will not be the last.

Ms. Marshall has done it again and has captured the imagination of her readers. The characters are brought together by the government due to a virus that has left the population sterile. Skye has been raised to know the womanly arts of being a housemate. She was raised this way because she is deemed to be a highly fertile woman, this means she can help repopulate the area with her provided mate. Kamdem, being a highly decorated military person, has been gifted with Skye, but will not play ball if his two friends are not included in the bargain. He wins and then they have to get Skye use to them and they are trying to be patient, but its hard because she is innocent of the sexual acts that she needs to do with the men. Together they form an unbreakable unit and have a deep and lasting love with each other. They make a quad unit work.
I’m going to say this story was very different from the other types of ménage romances I have read. The world as we know it has gone to the dogs and fertile women are taken to a facility where they are taught all the traits they should know to keep their partner happy, well cared for and their homes well tended. They are to learn anything sexual from their partner as well. Skye has just turned eighteen and is now being sent to her partner. When she lives at her new home, she discovers that she has three partners who will share her equally. She learns to love them and they her, only there is trouble in paradise and she discovers that she is no longer needed. But she learns said it was all a mistake and she returns hand is happily the mother of twin boys and her three men in her life again.

—>>> Eighteen-year-old Skye Marsh has been preparing for her Partner at the House of Fertility for the last two years, but never could she have imagined she was to become a consort for three Alpha soul-bonded males instead. The men managed admirable restraint, were caring and considerate to ease her into their home and getting to know them and their routines. In the end, it was their love for this girl which convinced her she was meant to be theirs, even though their relationship was tested by a challenge from the men’s past. Good read, naive but kind-hearted heroine, sweet heat, would like to see this world expanded upon.
This story was soo steamy. It was about time after an epidemic where people took a medication and that medication made almost all of the women barren except for a select few. Skye was a fertile woman and was scheduled to be given to one man to ensure the race lived on. Her match Kamden, had two friends and brothers that he wanted to share his woman with. When Skye got to their house, they were a lot kinder than she was expected and she was not expecting three lovers. This book was a very entertaining read. I really liked the characters and am glad it didn't go straight to the steamy parts. The boys had to teach Skye what to do and show her how to be intimate. This is my first book by this author but I will have to check out more in the future.

As a fertile female, Skye has been taught to be the perfect mate. Waiting for the day she’s partnered up. When her time comes, she doesn’t count on the three men who want to share her together.
The Partner Dilemma is a quick, spicy reverse harem. The storyline is quite interesting, with widespread disease causing infertility. Overall, a good read.
Thank you for the ARC. This is my first read from the author and it was a nice quick read. Extremely fast burning story with good spice. The concept of the story is interesting and could be expanded into a series with additional focus on the disease and how the world is handling it. I’d read more if the storyline is expanded further.
This is a great quick read with some HOT extra spicy scenes. I really enjoyed the story and would love to see another book or series for this. The author did such an amazing job with these characters. I quickly fell in love with Skye, Deklan, Blaine, and Kamden and I definitely need more of them!
A post apocalyptic world caused by vaccine side effects. A quick but super cute reverse harem book. The guys were really sweet and it was a nice change of pace for me as a reader.
I received this book as an ARC. The story line to this hits quite close to home in regard to it being a story about a post pandemic world after a super virus spread through the whole world and all people were given a life saving vaccine, only to find out years later that said vaccine made 90% of the worlds women infertile and how the government deals with this. Now, besides all this it is quite a fast burn, instalove, RH FMMM book. With 3 hunky guys totally devoted to one very shy virgin. It was a good read, and open for a possible series. Look forward to reading more by Jade Marshall.
What are super hot read So we’ve had a pandemic we’ve had a vaccination then it comes apparent that the vaccination has made many of the females infertile. So what do we do to keep our population growing. The world comes up with the answer of taking fertile women from their homes at the age of 16 to teach them how to take care of their man. how to clean, how to cook. And then at the age of 18 they are sent off to meet their partner with whom their main goal is to have children. Skye is worried that she hasn’t learned everything she needs to, to take care of her man. And as she waits for him to make his appearance at her new home she is totally confused when three men walking in. Then she finds out that she needs to get to know each of them because this is her new family. Deklan, Blaine and Kamden had been together since a young age they are brothers but not in the sense of blood brothers, they have a stronger bond. They had gone through school together they had join the army together and now it was decided that they would share a partner. It wasn’t the first time that they shared a woman but this time it was something special. And when they first saw Skye they realise how lucky they were Will Skye accept that she is to be with three men?? Can they have a future that’s also filled with love? Will these men have the patience they need to let Sky come to terms with this arrangement?? This is a fantastic read and I really hope this is part of a new series because I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Kind of a scary after everything we’ve gone through in the last two years and the unknown side-effects about a vaccination but the story really captured me I’d like to how vulnerable and sweet Skye is and how these big man, these hunky men have also got a soft side and make her feel like she’s $1 million. But as always there’s a twist in their story and you just don’t know how things are gonna turn out but this is a thoroughly good book and I know I will find myself reading it again and again and again.

I absolutely LOVE this book! It was a great read, it's a different concept from most other books that I've read recently! What a nice change in my little Kindle library! Our FMC Skye, is going to be partnered with 3 men instead of the 1 that she was first expecting. The government brings together our FMC and MCs due to the fact that a virus that left the population sterile. Skye is deemed a highly fertile woman so she grew up knowing that she would be partnered with someone to start with populating the world again.
I love that Kamden is sticking by his friends Blaine and Deklan, and lets them know that they are a package deal and are able to keep Skye for the 3 of them to share. There is so much going on in this book, that it's quick paced but you're drawn into the story immediately.
Even with the OW drama that occurs luckily isn't long and drawn out. I usually don't like OW drama but this was part of the story and fit in great without feeling forced. Jade really did an amazing job with this story it hooks you in, but won't take up too much of your time. This is a great read if you're looking for something to read in a night without being a series or a too long of a standalone.
A very quick read. The premise is interesting, but the actual story is just ok. Skye is one of the few fertile women in a world where 90% of women are now infertile.
The program that prepared Skye for her partner only focused on cooking and keeping a house, and sheltered her from any awareness of her own sexuality or sex in general. The introduction of Skye to her three partners is a little weird - she walks into the home and makes herself at home in the middle of the bed wearing just her underwear and sits in a submissive pose for nearly an hour.
The shortness of the story prevents more than basic character development and as a result it is hard to distinguish much to differentiate between the three male characters. For a book tagged as erotic or sizzling, there really isn’t much that would be considered steamy.
Overall this book was entertaining and an enjoyable read, there just wasn’t much to really get caught up in or grab your attention.

I tend to be a bias for Jade's writings. I loved this story and the futuristic characteristic qualities. It was a quick read for me. I love harem stories and how it plays out when the female tends to be a little nieve but soon finds out that her wishes can come true.
This one has a side note of the handmaiden story type running thru pages, but as you read it you venture into the way Jade tells a story and get sucked into her world. I love the twist and turns of how the three men want to let Skye get used to all of them and all she wants to have them. It gets hot and steaming with Deklan, Blaine and Kamden. They just want to have their way, but their sense not wanting to scare her just keep getting in the way. Then you have the drama of another woman who just won't let go. Skye's personality allows her to have friends in places that help her along the way. I liked this short story. Do not let the ones that did not like it make the decision for you to read it for yourself.

I love a good futuristic story and this one delivered. This is a world where women, for the most part, are infertile. Why? Because of a vaccine. It’s scary. The author made that point quite well and left me a little spooked, I won’t lie.
Skye is one of the few fertile women and one paired with her three men–Deklan, Blaine, and Kamden. I liked how they took care of her and how they fell into a routine so easily. What sort of bugged me was how she’s young and knew exactly what to do with them. For a virgin, she’s advanced. I wish there had been more clumsiness or a little more fear on her part–fear of the unknown. Still, the time they share together is hot and makes for an entertaining read.
If you’re looking for something short and hot, then this might be the one for you. Beware, it’s a little spooky, but it’s all good, too.
In 2029, fertile women are in short supply after the world received a vaccine in 2020 to eliminate a virus.
Rounded up at 16 and then partners with a match at 18, Skye doesn’t know what to expect. It certainly wasn’t three partners.
Deklan, Blaine and Kamden have been together since they were children. When Kamden is matched he refuses to accept a partner unless they were all matched with her.
Skye is young and naive. She is eager to learn about intimacy from her new men. Sweet and loving. The guys are really good men. They are willing to go slow to make her accept them more easily.
Steamy and enjoyable.

Skye is innocent, sweet and perfect for the three men that she is brought to after her stint being "trained" to be the perfect partner. She's naive but in a way that doesn't leave me groaning and she makes it clear the role she wants to play in the lives of her men.
The way the guys react to her is sweet, even though this story isn't super long they grow and build a relationship instead of barreling through to the steam and I really appreciated the build up.
I was super grateful for the dictionary at the start of the book, it gave me a little more insight into the storyline and made jumping straight in fairly straight forward. Steam was superb, scenes were detailed in a way that didn't feel cringey. Definite read if you're looking for a quick palette cleanser.

This is a very interesting story in a world where a virus made a large portion of women sterile. So the fertile ones are trained for future with their chosen partner. Usually, the partner has been selected based on their probability of actually conceiving and their rank. This story is about Skye, Kamden, Deklan and Blaine. She has been chosen for Kamden but he insists that Deklan and Blaine, his friends since childhood, be partnered with her as well. If not he will refuse the partnering. Needless to say when they all three show up to claim her she is shocked. This is a short and quick read that is very sexy and sweet.
Warning. This book, although not based on true events, does draw parallels to what we went through the last couple of years.
Skye is an incredibly well-written character. Sheltered and kept in a facility for fertile women, she hasn’t learnt much about sexual relationships and what will be expected from her other than being a fertile, child-baring partner. And she takes it well, a little soft at times, but completely understandable.
Kamden, Deklan and Blaine are best friends and fight for the right to share their partner.
I liked the guys. They were really easy to like.
It is a short, fun read (you can finish it in a few hours) and I highly recommend it.
This was a new to me author that I will be reading other books by. I loved the concept of this book and loved the Characters. Skye who is a Virgin tasked with matching to a partner to help repopulate the world. Deklan, Blaine and Kamden are best friends who grew up together and have convinced the powers that be to allow them to share the Partner that matches with them. Skye matches with all 3 and gets dropped off at their house to start their journey. Each man was so sweet with her and helped her through her nervousness. There is a bit of drama in this book. It was a shorter book so was a pretty fast read but there was alot packed into the book.
This post pandemic drama drew me in with it's twist on the idea of what could have gone wrong. This was a fast paced and semi-spicy read. Though there were some spicy scenes there was a lot of focus on the relationship and trust building with these characters which I thought was great. The main female character is not taught anything about what to expect from a physical relationship and these men take their time to make sure she is taken cared of and knows she is cared about. I love getting to see a softer side of the tough and rugged men.
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. This was a quick story about Skye, Kamden, Blaine and Deklan. This is in a world where fertile women are hard to find, and luckily Skye is one. Kamden is given the go ahead to share his partner with his two best friends. They are teaching her the ways is the world. A HEA in the works.

Wow! I am not one for sharing partners or having three or foursomes, but bloody hell. This book made me even feel it's okay. You can feel every character's emotions and the open relationship they have with each other without anyone being jealous and envious of one another. The love is so pure and without judgment. It's unbelievable how much passion and love is in this book without rushing and without cutting this book short. Good work Jade you did it again!!
First time reading this author and it did not disappoint.
This is a quick read RH with a hint of other woman drama. A HEA is the perfect ending to a sweet and short little book that has good character development. I appreciated the multiple POV's as it makes it easier to connect with the characters.
This is a new author for me. I really enjoyed this short read. Skye has been preparing her whole life for this. When she arrives there is not one but three men waiting for her. They build a relationship and get to know her. But when someone from their past shows up, will it ruin what they have strived to build? This was an amazing short read and I definitely recommend it!
