This is a suspenseful YA mystery set in a local high school. The kids are likable, and the teachers are recognizable types. There was a lot of local color and history early in the book--I liked it but not sure the younger readers would. The book blended high school social drama and a murder mystery. The characters were really nice, and I wish I met this many nice kids every day. Focusing on a conspiracy on social networking sites was great-- having an evil English teacher was creepy for me. Slow start, but a good read. I did not see the end coming. Would definitely recommend to my students.
