Smaro Kamboureli is a professor in the School of English and Theatre Studies at the University of Guelph and Canada Research Chair (Tier 1) in Critical Studies in Canadian Literature.
Her publications include A Mazing Space: Writing Canadian Women Writing, co-edited with Shirley Neuman (1986); On the Edge of Genre: The Contemporary Canadian Long Poem (1991); Trans.Can.Lit: Resituating the Study of Canadian Literature (WLUP, 2007), co-edited with Roy Miki; and Making a Difference: Multicultural Literatures in English Canada (2006). She is the founder and director of TransCanada Institute.
