Discover relief the natural way — know which herbs can help your kid recover from common illnesses with these at-home remedies.
NCBI reports that most of the commonly prescribed conventional drugs treat only the symptoms and not the root causes of diseases.
And according to The Guardian, most patients do not experience health improvement from medication.
Worse is, around 100,000 deaths every year in the US are caused by taking pharmaceutical drugs, as stated by US News.

Would you spend tons of money on medicine that wouldn’t even help your kid fight off the cause of fever and experience real relief?

My name is Ava Green. Over my 32 years of being involved in the herbal medicine industry, I’ve experienced my fair share of ailments and remedies. This has taught me so much about herbalism and inspired me to not only share my story with others but to take it a step further and offer support in the form of my first book "The Art of Herbal Healing: Herbalism for Beginners" to assist you in doing the same. And now I am just done writing and polishing my second book “Grow Your Own Medicine: Handbook for the Self-Sufficient Herbalist” to teach you more about herbs and how anyone can grow them whatever their living situation. I want to share that knowledge with you now because I know that it can free so many people from the beginner's trial and error of creating herbal remedies, making it fun and accessible. I am currently working on more books and will keep you updated! Make sure to join our FB group to keep yourself updated.
This was a quick and enjoyable read Not all of the information was correct, but her knowledge of herbs was pretty solid. She relays the information in a concise manner that is easy for the average reader, who may not be as knowledgeable on herbal remedies, to understand and utilize. I would have loved more pictures. Seeing the steps of making tinctures, teas, salves, etc would have been especially nice. Readers will likely want to do extra research on these herbs and how to grow or buy and make them, but this is a great guide in helping to provide non pharmaceuticals knowledgeable, where appropriate, and a great stepping off point to narrow research. I did like that the author seems to respect that both have their place and to identify which is best in that circumstance, if some type of medicating is needed. Some people are in the purely herbal or purely pharmaceutical camp and as I personally feel like there is a time and place for both, I was happy to see she respects both fields too. Obviously her knowledge is on the herbal side, so that is what she teaches in this book, but she doesn't hesitate to recommend communicating with doctors when the situation warrants it.
Very handy wee guide to herbal remedies for babies, kids and teens. I wish there had been more information on growing herbs, however, I know this can be found in the authors other books so I’ll need to get the whole collection!
I wanted to deepen my knowledge on using herbs with children but this book offered nothing new for me. If you do t already know a lot about herbs it would suit you better, if you have solid knowledge already you can skip this one.
