Hudson Guffey, top quarterback at Archibald Reynolds College, is being scouted by the NFL. He's hoping to be a solid draft pick this year, but first he has to graduate college. As the pressure mounts, he struggles to keep up with his classes when his full focus is on the field.

When coach hirers a new student with a photographic memory to help with plays and stats, he makes it perfectly clear that she's off limits to the team. That proves harder than it should be with the obsessive attraction Hudson has for her. His distraction for her isn't helping things in the classroom either.

His wolf wants to claim her, but to do so could cost him his position on the team. Can he risk the future he's always dreamed of for the one girl he can't have, but desperately craves?

**********Contains Spoilers**********

Wow, Julie has done it again. I loved this book but it was definitely bittersweet as this book is the last book in the ARC Shifters Series. What a great ending to the Series. I enjoyed that Hudson and Piper didn’t fight their bond like pretty much all the other couples have, but there was other challenges that they had to overcome that didn’t allow them to complete their bond until Football Season was over. Piper becomes Coach Jacob’s new hidden weapon due to her gift of having a photographic memory, and due to the sh*t that Josie was put through with the guys when she started working with the team, and she was mated the Coach warned Hudson that Piper was completely off limits even if her true mate ends up on the team and if anyone breaks the rule they’re off the team. Hudson tells Coach that he doesn’t need the warning as he never dates during the season, as he’s completely focused on football but he’ll also make sure the guys all know what’s at stake. Little did Hudson know that Piper would end up being his true mate.

I really loved how their relationship progressed, and loved getting snippets of all the previous couples and how everything is going for them. I also really liked getting more of the “other witches” from Westin Pack and Piper’s friends Sage, Jax and Kellen and I’m really hoping that they’ll all eventually get their own stories in another series as after everything they’ve been through especially Jax and Kellen they deserve to find their true mates. I thought Hudson did extremely well with his reactions to males being around Piper while they were mating, he only growled a few times and Kellen’s life was definitely in peril a few times but due to knowing how much it would hurt Piper if Hudson hurt Kellen he kept things it check. It made me smile that Hudson rigged the straw draw so Kellen got the short one, and Hudson got to get his own payback at the final game of the season. I’m looking forward to reading more books from Julie in the future, and have already pre-ordered His True Mate (Six Pack Shifters Series) Book 1 and High Risk (Westin Force Delta Series) Book 1. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.

Julie Trettel has done it again! All-Star Promise is the last book of the ARC shifters series. This is Hudson and Piper's story and its sweet, romantic, and amazing. You also get to see a lot of old familiar faces because it's homecoming!! And the DOGs are coming in to support their brother and to celebrate!

Hudson is the star quarterback for Archibald Reynolds College. When he was in high school his dream of playing professional football came to an end when he got a really bad concussion, but sophomore year of college he got cleared to play again and walked into tryouts and for 2 years they've been undefeated.

Now its senior year and NFL recruiters are coming around and in walks Piper, she is introduced in Waging War book 8 of the Westin Force series. Piper is a witch and her gift is a photographic memory and the ability to spot patterns in everything. So at the first football game of the season she goes to watch with her friends and notices that the team is having a bad first half. She goes down to the coach and offers her help.

Piper then becomes the coaches secret weapon to help the team learn new plays, how to defend against the plays their opponents might use, and she helps Hudson with his short term memory. Because of past experience with bringing a female into the locker room coach makes Piper off limits and if anyone does anything to make her uncomfortable they'll be kicked off the team.

Piper walks into her first day of work and meets Hudson her one true mate. What are they gonna do? Will they hold off until the season is done? Or will they risk Hudson's dream career in order to seal their bond?

This is a standalone but should be read in series order. I 100% recommend this book, this series, and the whole Westin world. If you haven't read the other 3 series connected to this world you really should, you won't be disappointed!

Always sad to see a great series come to an end but All-Star Promise was a great end to this series! So many great characters made appearances all beloved.
Hudson and Piper are so perfect together and great proof that opposites really do attract! They compliment each other so perfectly.
Julie Trettel always amazes me with how hard and deep I fall into every book and this one is no different!

This book was somehow both easy and extremely hard to follow. By this point in the series, the majority of the page time on the books is spent recapping events from other books in the series. Since they’re sorta meant to be interconnected standalones, it makes sense to talk a little about the other characters however it would be impossible to follow this particular installment without having read every other one of Trettel’s Westin pack books. The central relationship is a pretty small part of the book. Since it’s the last book in a 10 book series the author brought ALL the characters that play a meaningful role in the series back in for cameos and then explains a bit about their own story when they’re ‘introduced’ it’s like name salad. I’ve read all of Trettel’s books and even I was like ‘wait WHO?’ because there are just soooo many characters and side characters. In addition to that complication, the main plot device is pretty lame. The main characters are kept apart for a pretty flimsy reason and it could have been resolved with like a quick conversation with the coach.

Since the plot wasn’t all that wild, there is a LOT of filler in this book. And by filler I mean the characters rehashing and explaining events that we’ve already witnessed to the side characters, and they’ll do this for both POVs so we see and event and then we see Piper explain things to one friend then we’ll see her explain it to a different friend and then we see Hudson and he explains the same event to a different friend and then they’ll bring another friend in and explain it again. This happens multiple times in the story. We just don’t need to see the same events explained and discussed a bunch of times. There’s also a weird random side plot with Kellen getting into gambling trouble and it had nothing to do with the rest of the story and felt out of place.

It wasn’t a bad story but it felt like the author was following a script and just trying to wrap the series up. I didn’t feel particularly connected to any character because there was too much extra noise going on. I will say that I’m happy she didn’t go with the ‘slutty guy/untouched girl’ trope that a lot of the Westin universe books tend to follow although we still do get a little bit of the weird shade toward having past partners. I’ve always felt like there are some odd conservative leaning religious undertones to these books and that’s one of the elements that always makes me get those vibes.

But here’s the thing, if you’ve made it this far you know exactly what you’re getting into and you probably already are accustomed to this authors writing style and this one fits right in.

All star Promise de Julie Trettel serie ARC Shifters libro 10

Argumento:

Hudson y Piper eran adorables juntos.

For all intents and purposes, shifter QB Hudson Guffey has recovered from his career halting accident a few years ago. But he’s left with short term memory issues like failing classes and unable to remember new plays and it’s playing havoc with his routine and now the campus is crawling with scouts anxious to check him out.

Witch Piper never though much of her eidetic memory but she fits right in as the teams’ new statistician. But there’s a caveat, Piper is strictly off limits, even to the quarterback as their both informed hours after meeting and realizing they’re true mates. This outing was a good swan song for the series and it was nice to have the older couples come and wave goodbye.

This book was sooooo good. I loved Hudson and Piper. I loved that they didn't fight their bond, but had some challenges that they had to work through. It made my heart happy to read through their journey. I also loved seeing the other ARC couples come back as the DOGs gathered at the house for Homecoming. This was a great addition to the ARC Shifters series. I highly recommend reading this book, and even more recommend going back to the beginning and enjoying all the couples and families in the world Julie has created. This is my favorite fated mates series and my go-to when readers ask for recommendations.

Hudson and Piper’s story is amazing and great. So looking forward to this and it doesn’t disappoint. Hudson is adorable and Piper is strong. Together they are heartwarming, sweet and engaging. I loved their struggles, compromises and I loved the growth of their relationship. With the ARC characters it does feel like a family and this story shows this to the fullest. With favourite and continuing characters this story shows off the family they have made at the ARC. No spoilers but this book is a fantastic ending to this ARC series with still hints to the future. Great writing, beautifully done!

I received an ARC copy from the author and all views are my own.

OMG! I don’t want this to end! All-star Promise” is the 10th fan-freaking-tastic, page-turner from the amazing must read series, ‘ARC, Shifters’ college! ... It grabbed me from the start & I was glued to my seat & did not want to put it down! ... Always a fresh, new, storyline, relatable characters, both new and old friends! Add in the electric chemistry between the H/h, Hudson & Piper and clever dialogue and my emotions were in a jumble until the HEA! Awesome descriptions with surprise twists & turns will keep readers turning pages like crazy! I honestly recommend this to all adult 18+ fans of fiction & again, I can't wait for more, but of course I always will!

Ms. Trettel Delivers Everytime

One of my favorite things about Ms. Trettel and the One True Mate series is that I find myself just smiling throughout reading. My cheeks actually hurt from the non stop smiling. Every book brings me joy and happiness. Every couple makes me cheer for their HEA. I love every single thing about each book. I truly hope that Ms. Trettel never runs out of characters because I can't imagine a world where I wouldn't have a new book from her to look forward to.

Julie did it again! Absolutely amazing ending to a series of beloved characters.
If you’ve read any of the ARC shifter books, you’re familiar with one of the brothers finding his one true mate.
Hudson and Piper are sure to be a favorite. I loved how different they are and how they used their differences as strengths.
Seeing everyone come together for home coming was a wonderful trip down memory lane.

If you love shifter stories, true mates and a HEA, you’ll love this story and the whole ARC shifter series.

All Star Promise was an amazing book and awesome way to end the series. Julie totally did it again with another awesome book. This was by far one of my favorites in the series. If you love PNR books this is the series you need to read. I love that all the couples from each book in the series made an appearance in this book. I was so sad to see this series end, however it ended in a awesome story. I’m so glad to see Hudson get a happy ending !
Looking forward to what Julie has next.

So sad to see this series end! I fell in love with these characters and watching them find their true mates. Although I loved all of the stories this one was definitely my favorite! I loved everything about Hudson and Piper’s relationship. It was definitely different from the previous books but I admired their will and strength to stay strong through some hard times. I know this is the end for this series but like always I know Julie Trettel will give me more to love in the future!

All-Star Promise is the 10th and Final book in Julie Trettel's ARC Shifter Series. It is a standalone with a HEA but does have intermingled characters.

I absolutely loved this book, it is a fitting end to the series. Hudson and Piper are the perfect opposites attrack couple. This book was full of heart and fun. It gave a glimpse of all our favorite past characters and some we want to spend more time with.

Julie managed to do it again giving us characters to love.

Hudson is the star quarterback at ARC. Hudson struggles with short tirm memory making this last season difficult until he meets Piper.
Piper has a unique gift. When she is offered the opportunity to help the football team and she is very interested. Finding her mate and helping her him just sweetens the deal. They have a long season ahead of them

Piper and Hudson are absolutely adorable. Loved their story so sad this series is coming to an end.

Oh my!

This is one of the sweetest most realistic stories in this series. If you love a good recovery story, this is the story for you. These two are truly meant for each other. The saying opposites attract, is definitely part of their story but the similarities they share make this couple a match made in fate/heaven. They are not only sweet but truly passionate in all that they do. Love this series more and more.

While I'm sad this series has ended. I really enjoyed reading this final book in the ARC series. I love the world that Julie has created and look forward to future series set in this world. I loved how the DOG house have become such a close and protective family. Always stepping in to help there members. I enjoy reading how these characters meet and accept there bond quickly but have to wait to actually fully form the bond until football season is over. I loved the twist right at the end.

I don't want this series to end. I loved it so much, and so many people need mates!!! Hudson and Piper were fantastic, and I especially loved Piper. She was amazing with her gifts. She was unique, and I loved it. And, of course, I was giddy every time, Hudson wolfed out when someone was near his mate. Give me all the growly sprouting fir goodness, forever and always.

All star promise, is such a beautiful wrap up for the ARC series.
Hudson & Piper are perfect opposites and you know what they say opposites attract!

I love how they help and concur any problem together.

As always My only complaint is, the book is over wayyy to quick. But Julie could write a 1000 page book and I’d still say the same!

I can’t wait what adventures unfold in the new series.

Wow what a finale to this brilliant series, I’m just sorry we won’t see them anymore 😞
Honestly Hudson and Pipers story was so cute, and different.
Loved the story and plot, of course the characters are amazing. Some angst, not loads which is good. The love scenes are well done, not crude. Some funny moments, but overall a great read.
