I thought the fight was over.
That I’d finally found a home for me and my family. That I’d found a new beginning.
How wrong was I?
All my efforts just led me to a new beginning of the end.
Echo City was on the verge of destruction, and my plan of trying to stop the unstoppable involved all three of them.
The three Kings.
Forming the most dangerous union.
Deadlier than ever before.
Hungrier than ever before.
Darker than ever before.
And as all kings, they offered nothing for free, each one demanding the price of my body in return, continuing their devious games, gradually breaking me.
Passionate, mesmerizing, and wicked, forming a dark alliance to conquer it all. Including me!
The three devils united into a sinful team.
Kings of Lust!

Couldn't put it down!

"Some spoilers"

This book was amazing. So much going on and the ending was crazy! I definitely don't understand what some of the negative reviews were about. I thought it was well written and the few typos there were didn't bother me at all. From start to finish I was invested and enjoyed reading more about the dynamics between Bea and the guys. I am excited for their relationship to hopefully grow even more. They all seem like such a good fit, they just have to work through their demons
In the beginning, I was definitely a little confused about why Bea was wanting to save the world all of a sudden but the more I read, the more I understood her reasoning. Everything she has been through and seen, she wants to have a better life for her and her family and the fact that she has three powerful men who could make a change and help her reach that goal is huge. I really enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to start the next one! Now just need to go to bed because once again I'm up late reading because I can't put this series down!

Kings of Lust is book two in the series The Pleasure Room by author M.O. Absinthe. Listens up ladies and gents get ready for the ride if you life.
OK I’m in the second book Kings of Lust, and I just needed a moment of calm. All of them are so broken - Ferris/ Brax/ Cole. This one is more emotional than the last book. Here in this one, you have bouts of brutal darkness with glimpses of euphoria. It’s just sad that when they reached their euphoria, they accomplished everything they wanted to break her.
The one thing that has me utterly breaking is when Ferris says he’s ok - that it made him feel alive- she says, ‘I’m happy you’re alive because you just killed us.’
Omg this has me dying. I felt it deeply.
Each man - each monster just broke her and nothing else seems to matter. They achieved their shared goal.
Even with all this happening- there’s the plan- all the pieces are falling into place, until they aren’t.
Enjoy!!

so much potential, such bad editing

The characters all had so much potential. Their personalities and “appetites” were delicious. There were just too many places that the story didn’t build where it could have (back story) and just too many mistakes. Dozens of misused words (waisted instead of wasted) and heavy on the thesaurus words that don’t fit. I’d say the author is really talented and inventive, horrible editing is a big turn off.

Good read

Although these books are a little repetitive and Bea gets on my nerves with the hot cold crap and being ignorant I do enjoy the books. She really aggravates me with how naive she is especially coming from the “poor” part of town like they tell her over and over to be careful and she’s like oh I can trust him. Also with wanting all three kings but then not wanting them is getting a little aggravating too

A good read

For the majority of the book, all speech was indicated with ' instead of ". It led to heavier paragraphs and conversations to be a bit hard to follow.
Otherwise another juicy read!

Amazing

I love this book. I do wish it was a multiple pov but oh well. I hate the way all the men treat bea so I hope to god they make it up to her and more. Like serious grovelling. I hate brax for cheating on her. That's just way over the line

**SPOILERS**

Sometimes, Bea gets on my nerves. Firstly, she agreed to this "deal" with her kings and they would help her get her siblings back in return for her body, basically. But every time they did anything, she would enjoy it and then flip out. I thought that was annoying, if you had any issues you shouldn't have USED THEM for their money and connections. Honestly, gave me whiplash between wanting them and hating them. And you can start to see the guys catching feelings, like when Cole backed out of the deal (again bc Bea enjoyed herself and then blamed him,) and Brax was asking her to stay with him (even if he was fighting his feelings) and we basically already knew where crazy ass Ferris stood when it came to her. I barely read a book where I hate the FMC and love the guys, shoot even when Ferris drugged her, I didn't hate him.

The part of the story that I did enjoy, was the rich vs. poor situation. The poor people were ready to go to war, which led to an extension of the deal so that they could take over the city and fix it. However, the governor got wind of their plan, and almost killed Bea.

Kings of Lust (The pleasure room book 2) by: O.M. Absinthe

Second part of the pleasure room series I have to say I love how it starts right from Kings of Desire. Bea is trying to save her family and with her three men she did that, but now the city she lives in and was born in needs her help too. Wars are gonna break out against the rich and poor, she needs her men she and they made new deals. She loses herself for the greater good. A lot of sexy scenes and having to put herself on the line for good. Her men have a lot of issues too. Ferris is having issues that come from his family having been killed. And other two are trying to push her they all do in there own right, bully her. This one is definitely darker so if that isn’t your thing don’t read.

Can’t wait to read the last part, ends on the cliffhanger!

this book was good. i loved learning more about Ferris, Brax, and Cole. but they’re all pissing me off with the way they’re acting towards and treating Bea. but she’s also annoying me by refusing to accept her feelings towards them - at least towards Brax and Cole.
bc I think Brax and Cole could both be really good guys for her. however, I don’t trust Ferris worth SHIT.

There wasn’t anything necessarily wrong with this book… It was just lacking something, and I feel like it was very repetitive. It was very dull and the spice was not at all what I wanted it to be and what it could be I felt like it was kind of lackluster, which makes me really sad because of the potential the story had, and then the end of the book caught my attention, and I wanted to read the next one, which I did in my review is up for that one as well… I felt like the potential that the storyline had was really creative and I was really interested in it and I loved the character ideas. I just felt like they were very stagnant.

Painful

This book was even worse that book one and I gave up at chapter 16, I just couldn't read anymore. The Divergent theme of different worlds was bad enough but compound that with the grammar errors, spelling errors, and then having words just left out which helped the sentence you are reading make no sense at all and I am done. I wound not recommended this series to anyone.

I almost DNF this book because I just started hating every single character. Just when I thought they were all getting to a good spot they just continuously disappointed the FMC and I just couldn’t take it. I only finished it out of spite so it didn’t show as DNF on my Kindle but I refuse to read any further in this serious.

Dark Romance Series Continues

The series continues for several more books, but I will be stopping here. Everything thag made the FMC interesting was washed out of her in this book. She finally gets her siblings back and then ignores them? The MMCs' personalities appear interchangeable? The first book was great. This was unfortunate

Ouch, A Mean Cliffhanger! ** NO SPOILERS **

Bea is stuck she made her deals with the devils, they are kings amongst the lesser mortals. Her deals are playing through and she keeps making the same mistakes over and over, expecting some humanity from the broken kings.

She’s getting her brother and sister back, but will they even recognise who she’s becoming?

DNF 68%

It seems repetitive: she discovers she likes/loves him, his dark side comes out and she can’t forgive him. One chapter later it’s forgiven and she likes him again and the cycle repeats with someone else.

Almost DNF

The dialogue is immature and the grammatical mistakes are very distracting. The spice is not progressing and feels forced always. I don’t know if I can continue this series.

Okay the writing was still bad but it was better from the first. More spicy scenes and character/relationship development with the other characters. The plot itself isn’t that well done to me but I’m kinda invested in the characters tbh (if they were bad to it would be a dnf)

I’ve never known an FMC to be so whiney about having sex, good lord girl even when you’re in the throughs of passion you’re still whininggggggggg
Story has potential but chemistry between any character is just absolutely non existent and she just totally ignores her siblings.

I am enjoying the series so far. A good editor would do WONDERS. If you're able to get past the errors and willing to fill in a few small plot holes, it really is a good book.
