Didn't know travel writing can blend with behind-the-scenes of documentaries to weave an exciting quilt of stories. The hilarious jostles with thought-provoking in this memoir. The author's reach as spouse of a retired bureaucrat comes in handy to make films on places and people of Rajasthan. Her team is constant throughout and the love they share is such a delight to see! Set in the DD era in the 80's and 90's you'll have plenty of 'aha' moments as this could bring up memories of a world widened little by little by series and films one saw on nightly TV...
