Nicky Gumble reads his commentary with an entry for every day of the year. It was great to listen to alongside the Bible in One Year.

I literally CRIED when I finished this earlier this morning. Reading and studying this Bible every morning this year has been such an incredible journey 🥹 *I will not cry whilst writing this review* 😂 It has changed my life in more ways than I could ever have imagined. The hour, or so, spent studying this Bible daily quickly became my favourite part of each day.
If you are looking for an accessible way to study the Bible or you just want to read in a structured capacity, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this version of the Bible. It has been incredibly well thought out and written. I will truly miss having this to start my day off with and I will definitely be using it again in future years to come.

If you are looking for an accessible way to study the Bible or you just want to read in a structured capacity, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this version of the Bible. What an incredible journey through the Bible! The commentary each day was a breath of fresh air and full of new perspective. I had no idea scripture could feel so alive and fresh after years of being a Christian.

This has been a life changing experience. God has so much to tell us. If we slow down, God will give us the wisdom we need to understand His words.
Starting with daily texts from Wisdom text, Psalms, or proverbs, then moving to the NT then OT, there is a wonderful commentary after each section that clarifies themes that cam be difficult. Highly recommended!!! Prayer that you may benefit from this incredible book. It is also available as a free app on playstore for Android or Apple.

I’ve completed this before, a couple of years ago - using the YouVersion Bible app. I’m now doing the 2025 version on the YouVersion Bible app.
I started early December 26th as I’d finished two Advent plans the previous day.
I really like Nicky & Pippa voice. They read the devotional page and I read the Amplified version Bible passages. I would have used The Message version previously.

I enjoyed this Bible in one year because of the commentary that went along with each day.

Best devotional bible I have ever used. Nicky Gumbel's devotions helped grow my faith over the year and Pippa Gumbel's pithy comments at the end were cleverly funny or humble or obedience inspiring.

This is one of my favorite Bible studies by one of my favorite authors. I could read this one again and again and still get a new insight even after so many reads. Reading through the recap is a great complement to the You Version Bible Study.
