This essay brings forth the gnostic-driven spirituality of some contemporary metal, in particular extreme genres like Black Metal. It helps to understand how modern satanism manifestate and how it manifested and evolved particularly in secular northern europe. A must to understand how new religions manifest and bring forth new iterations of old beliefs.
