He protects what he owns, but he doesn't own her. Yet.
When Giada Marconi attends an annual gala with the handsome Malachy Byrne, she’s looking for her missing sister. Instead, she find’s Malachy’s brother, Judah Byrne. The Black Lion.
Judah has no desire to steal his brother’s girl, but he absolutely won’t allow a group of black-clad men with weapons to do it, either. Instead, he spirits her away to his tropical island paradise. Against her will? Sure, maybe a little, but it’s for her safety. Nothing personal in it all…or is there?
“Trapped” on a decadent island with the equally delicious and gorgeous Judah, Giada turns her sights from one brother to the next, telling herself it’s only so she can find out what happened to her sister. She’s certainly not going to fall in love with the arrogant jerk who kidnapped her. No matter what.

Who wrote this? Not the Megan Hart I’ve read and loved - the author who wrote the exquisite Everything Changes, Deeper, Naked and Collide. What insipid characters, what a contrived story line, what lackluster ( and lack lust) sex! This must be a Megan Hart wannabe who, I’m afraid, missed the plot totally. Will the real Megan Hart come back to us.
Weird. Fragmented. Felt as though it is missing multiple chapters. Like there was a bigger story planned, but it either never got written or was hacked apart instead of edited. Strange dynamics between characters. I wonder what really happened here.
