Two Weeks at Hotel Alyeska

Aspen lives in a world where she often wonders what might have been had the smallest things been changed. Would her parents still be together? Or was their once happy family of four always destined to be separated?

Either way, she was desperate to make her parents see that what was once broken doesn’t always have to stay that way. Setting the lofty goal of getting the two back together in a mere two weeks. Attempting to bridge the chasm of years of them building up walls to protect themselves from the love they still carried for one another.

Asking for nothing but a nostalgic trip to an old family haunt, Aspen hopes that getting them away from the realities of life and reminding them of their past lives together will help draw the two back to one another. But she soon finds that, not only does she not have to work as hard as she thought, but that what she has done may already be in vain.

When long kept secrets come to light will the love that Perri and Ian have for one another truly be enough to make them pursue what they lost? Or will it end all over again once they return from the glittering mountains of Hotel Alyeska?

I felt like the author did a great job of making you fall in love with the characters and really root for them. I found myself really caring how everything would come together. Captivating. Very much recommend this book.

I’ve never been more proud of this author in my entire life. She created a wonderful masterpiece and just had to end the book with a mind-twerky ending. I will not be accepting the alternate ending as truth because it makes me sad and I would rather believe in the happy ending. So extremely proud of you for publishing your first novel and I really did love Ian!
