The little girl in this story is unsure about going to summer camp, what if no one likes her and she makes no friends? She decides to put her lucky penny in her pocket so she will know she'll have a good time. She soon finds antoerh friend on the ride there and throughout the day they share the things they've made and done. At the end of the day she is excited to go the next day! And she says it's all due to her penny but wait, it's not in her pocket... it's right on her doorstep where its been all day due to a penny sized hole in her pocket. So she realizes it wasn't luck after all that lead her to have a good day.
