Really, really simple. My 2 1/2 year old enjoyed lifting the flaps and repeating the phrase "PLEASE DON'T EAT ME!"

I really liked the rhyming in this book it was super fun. I also enjoyed the guiding questions at the end that I can prompt the kids with.

I like having fish as meals. They are healthy and nutritious. I even like eating those cheap canned sardines for lunch once in a while. So when I saw this book, I'm curious why on earth a fish asked people not to eat it. Turned out, this is one funny picture book.
The glittery greeny unidentified species of fish featured in this story may talk you out of eating it for dinner! After all fish are pretty bony . . . and have you seen what they eat? Be careful as it may lead you to stop eating any for awhile.
