This small and interesting book aims to expose the antagonism between Catholic and Masonic institutions. Both are in an irreconcilable position, however they are destined to promote the emancipation of the soul and their methods will be very different from the qualities of the soul nourished in one school or another. Therefore, the fight must continue until the battle for the souls of men has been lost or won. However, the outcome of the battle will not mean the persistence of the Catholic institution or of the Masonic, but will determine the nature of the teachings that humanity must receive in the remaining periods of evolution.
Personally, as a Catholic (although a bad practitioner), I can see that the author is more inclined towards Freemasonry, thus opposing Catholicism, however, it's a useful book that allows to observe the facts from the perspective of Freemasons, to know their thought patterns and their plans. It's an informative book if it's read without prejudice.
The low rating obeys to the fact that I'm not impartial, it has nothing to do with the quality of the book itself.
This is a bizarre but quick (2 hours) read. It's not a comparison of actual Catholicism versus Freemasonry but a turn-of-the-century occultist's comparison of them. Fascinating.
I encourage the reader to first study The Rosicrucian Cosmo-Conception to get the most out of this book. This book provides elucidation on the profound and ancient scheme in which humanity is developing. A long time ago humanity used to be united, but cleavage/division appeared; henceforth, there have been two classes of human, Sons of Seth (water) and Sons of Cain (fire). Both classes have positive and negative qualities. For this reason, both classes must be reconciled with each other in that each person in each class must cultivate the qualities of the other class. So that every person may have the positive qualities of both classes. A union of heart and mind, faith and knowledge... We are called to embark on establishing this glorious and sublime union that will hasten the day of the Kingdom of Heaven. This union was achieved by and is typified by the one who will come again, the Unifier, the Christ!
