I love this series and hate to see it over. It’s action pa led and will keep you turning the pages. Having book 2 end with a cliffhanger, I was definitely ready for 3. It did not disappoint at all. I highly recommend this series if you like mafia books!

Darkness Shattered is Book 3 of Autumn Reign's Ricci Crime Family Series. Excellent conclusion to an exciting and incredible series. It is an absolute must that these stories be read in order from the beginning. Each book continues where the other left off.

This was a fast-paced, mafia story starring Alessio and Raine. Despite their very diverse backgrounds, these two were drawn to each other. Secrets, betrayal and a ton of drama round out this series.

I flew through book three of this trilogy, skimming some pages. I've read quite a bit of criminal genre aka, Mafia, etc., so the theme of "Mafia with a large dose of betrayal" is a theme done many times before. It wasn't that this trilogy wasn't done well, it's just that this story felt as though it should been a duet. This author writes well, but three separate books made the story seem "forced" at times.

Book three brings the trilogy full circle where lies are exposed, traitors and enemies are identified and where Raine's betrayal is finally uncovered and addressed. Book three does deliver with suspense, angst and sobering moments that could have easily been included in two books. The sex in the church prior to Agent's Carter's final appearance seemed completely out of place; it turned our two main characters into blithering idiots.

Raine comes through and get's her revenge with Agent Carter and all's well that ends well. Alessio finally admits at the end of book three that he does love Raine. It felt like a weak acknowledgement of his love for her, only admitting it when she comes to his aid at the end of book three. Not very impressive for a character such as Alessio who had played such an "anti-alpha hero" main character.

This book picks up right where #2 left off. The hotel is about to get raided and Alessio only had 20 minutes to get rid of everything. Luckily that was enough time. After the raid, Alessio found out who betrayed him. I wasn’t surprised to find out who it was. Time is running out and Raine knows she needs to tell Alessio the truth – who she really is and what she has told the police. Will she be able to tell Alessio in time? Will he still want to be with her? Raine can only hope as she now knows that she is in love with Alessio.

Deception, betrayal, passion, forgiveness and family will keep you reading until late in the night to find out what happens in this book. Great story, I loved the characters and I love how the characters evolved and realized what they wanted was right in front of them the whole time!

This is the third and final book in the Ricci Crime Family series and each of these books are solid reads. This book picks up where book 2 left off with the hotel is raided by the feds, but nothing is incriminating is found. Can Alessio and Raine survive all the deceptions, betrayals, lies, and twists and come out on the other side. This book is full of even more sizzle, steam, action, drama, and more. All three books in the Ricci Crime Family series are available to read for free with Kindle Unlimited and these books make for an awesome binge worthy weekend. Well done Autumn Reign, well done.

Having been left hanging at the end of the previous book I was eager to read this one. It starts with their hotel about to be raided with very little time for Alessio only to get rid of everything incriminating. Alessio found out who betrayed him this time but for Raine time is running out she needs to tell Alessio everything but will he still want her if she does? Raine's in love with Alessio, but will her feelings be enough?

An exciting plot is full of drama, passion, deception, betrayal, forgiveness, family and love.

This is the final book in the Ricci Crime Family series and what a fantastic ending it was. This book picks up where book two left off and the hotel is raided by the feds. Luckily, nothing is found and afterwards Alessio learns who has betrayed him. Time is running out for Raine, and she knows she needs to come clean with Alessio, but will he still want her when he learns the truth? A terrific story and series, and one I recommend.

Darkness Shattered is the final book of the Ricci Crime Family trilogy by Autumn Reign. I was waiting for this finale and I was not disappointed. The secrets throughout have you wondering what was going to happen in fact probably on the edge of your seat. The intensity that was built through the other books is still going strong. I want everything to come out and Alessio and Raine to come out together on the other side.

The story hooked me early and held me to the last page. Excellent mafia trilogy!

This is the third and final read in the Ricci Crime family series and I do recommend reading them in order. Alessio and Raine’s story continues and some big secrets are about to explode onto the scene, will they love be able to survive or will Alessio see this as the ultimate betrayal? Fast-paced mafia read with loads of drama, suspense and action. Great characters with intense chemistry and lots of depth. I was hooked from beginning to end on this mafia read. I loved it.

It’s starts with a raid by the feds and Detective Carter. Luckily Alessio had someone working for them who gave them twenty minutes warning. Alessio and some of his men were removing the guns etc from the basement. They didn’t have time to remove all of them so they hid the rest. Sofia dragged Raine to the side and told her to only give her name as the password. When they started to file out Detective Carter threw a folder at Lorenzo and said his information was useless. The file contains photos and information about the guns etc. Lorenzo grabbed Raine to use as a shield to escape Raine had ideas of her own and managed to end up on the floor. After a struggle between Alessio and Lorenzo, Alessio won and hooked Lorenzo up. The clean up of the hotel started. Alessio took Raine to his house away from the hotel. Then before Raine could come clean Alessio got a report on her involvement with Carter and Ramirez. I’m not going to spoil the rest only to say this is a must read. You need to read all three books In order to understand all the story.
