For anyone who has visited and fallen in love with the exceptionally special place called Bald Head Island, NC, this is a must read! The author has done a remarkable job compiling short stories, color photos, maps and other unique artifacts that depict the earliest days of BHI’s residents and visitors. This book is made up of very short stories, photos and first hand accounts of life and vacations that tell the early history of establishing community on the remote island. This book makes a perfect gift for any BHI enthusiast.
