Yikes!
This story somehow ended up being both annoying AND boring. I had to skim so much of it. The heroine was obnoxious and the hero wasn’t much better. The dialogue was just straight bad. You expect some over the top cheese with these short instalove reads but this was just in the terrible category.
They JUST learn each other’s names they’re hiding for their lives in a lifeboat and he tells her “we have to stay quiet but we can still play”? Like, what?
This first book in the series was such a turn off that I can’t even bring myself to check out the others even though they are written by other authors.

A fun, steamy, romantic novella about a girl who gets roped into a scheme of sorts due to her friend's unfortunate involvement in something shady.
And the man who rescues her from it all, despite being involved in said shady scheme.
AS usual the writing was good, the romance was okay, and the steam was on point. The characters might need more development...but I guess this is how insta-love novels work.
Overall a decent read.

Wonderful, absolutely love this one! Short, sweet, and an easy read.
Cole sees Lucy when he’s at Dimitri’s Taverna she walks by him and takes a seat near him. He couldn’t take his eyes off of her. Next Lucy wakes on board Prince Ander’s yacht, no one is around. She goes to find someone its very quiet, but doesn’t. Someone grabs her and drags her into a cabin and tells her not to scream. Cole finds her and tries to hide her from the other pirates but they find her and want her. He needs to protect her. So Cole tells the other men she is with him and takes her back to his cabin. He gets her something to eat, he can tell she is is hungover. She tries to steal a steak knife but he gives her his pocket knife to make her feel safe. She eat some food and then uses the restroom. When she returns he left a note for her he needs to take care of business. He goes and tells the men to turn off the cameras to his room. Then talks to the man in charge when he make a comment about Lucy, Cole knocks him out. He goes to the room with the security footage and excuses the men. He pours soda over the control panel and destroys it. When he returns to his cabin Lucy is gone. He goes looking for her. When he get to the upper deck he spots something moving. He sees her slip under the lifeboat so he goes and talks to her. He tells her that help is on the way. That all this is fake and he has a message from the princess for her. He gives her phone to her and she tells him to climb in. He tells her how beautiful she is then kisses her. He presses himself against her and she giggles. He then pleasures her, she tells him she needs him inside her. He presses himself deep inside her filling her, moving slowing, thrusting in and out. They get dress and wait for help trying to be quiet. He gets a message and they hear a motor in the distance. She ask him what’s next and he tells her he was thinking of marrying her. They climb out of the lifeboat and onto an inflatable military style boat and leave the yacht behind. Lucy calls a friend who owns a resort on the Greek Island and they are there for several days. They make plans for the future together and talk about family. Cole asks Lucy to marry him on this island and she says yes.

Cole and Lucy . . .
Lucy Turner was at a party on Prince Anders and Princess Astrid’s yacht. Having too much champagne, she woke groggy in one of the royal rooms. She brushed her teeth and had some water, then looked for the princess to see if she had her missing purse. Instead, she found disarray all over, trash and food trays left around, and saw through a small window a bunch of strangers playing cards, drinking, and smoking cigars. They apparently have taken over the ship. There is no one familiar left on board. She sees a man walk past and feels that she can trust him somehow. So she races out on deck but he has disappeared. Suddenly, she is grabbed and pulled into a cabin, her mouth covered to stop her scream. Apparently she can’t trust him after all. He is one of “them”.

Sold to the Pirate by Fern Fraser is part of the multi-author Ahoy, Me Hearties! series. This story is a thrill ride from start to finish. Lucy ends up "kidnapped" by mistake and Cole ends up finding his Pearl when he comes to her rescue. After retiring from the Navy SEAL's after twenty years Cole still needed some excitement and action. So he took a job which ends up with him being undercover and finding an innocent, but very delectable, woman that will give him enough excitement for the rest of his life. The only issue will be getting the two of them to safety and to their own HEA.
I loved this action packed story. Lucy is a firecracker who is smart, observant, and resourceful. Cole knows immediately that he will do anything to keep Lucy safe and protected. The only problem may be keeping her safe from him, or not as that will be a lot more fun.

I liked this short story a lot. It was an entertaining and enjoyable pirate tale with a twist. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Lucy was at a party but since she had too much to drink she ended up waking up to find that the yacht had been taken over by pirates. Cole was a former Navy SEAL and was working undercover. Cole found Lucy but before he could tell her that she could trust him, they were discovered by the "other" pirates. Cole claimed her as his to the pirates. There was definitely some drama and angst. He was protective and possessive but their interactions were fun and easy. There was a bit of steam but it was also sweet. I liked their happily ever after although I do wish that there was another epilogue further out. I recommend reading this book.

This book was such a fun read! With modern day pirates, suspense, a fair maiden caught, and a fantastic ending. There is more to Cole than meets the eye as the leader of a modern day ship takeover. Lucy somehow gets left behind and Cole must decide between his men and the woman who instantly captured his heart.
I loved these characters. Cole is an intense and multi layered man with so much going on under the surface. Lucy is fantastic is her confidence and independence. She never sees Cole coming or her attraction to him. Their chemistry is smoking hot!! The things Cole will have to do to keep her safe will make you love him even more. Their sweet and steamy ending was the perfect conclusion for this book and it’s characters. This book is definitely a recommended read!

This book is a part of the Ahoy, Me Hearties! Series and focuses on Cole and Lucy. Cole is the oldest of the Bishop brothers and married to his work since he refuses to settle for anyone less than the exactly right person for him. The last place that he expects to find the woman of his dreams is in the middle of an undercover mission that he isn’t happy about taking in the first place. When Lucy unexpectedly ends up in the middle of Cole’s mission, he is determined to protect his woman and keep her safe while at the same time winning her over since she doesn’t know his true identity. This was a great story and a great addition to the series!

Wrong place, wrong time. Lucy finds herself in the middle of trouble when she wakes up and the people on the boat are not the ones from last night. Cole took a job that he is not the happiest with, but a favor is a favor. When the woman he saw last night walks out of the cabin, all he wants to do is protect her.
This is fast story with a bit of danger and action that has you lost in the pages. They connection between Cole and Lucy is heat, but sweet that will have you melting as you get lost in their story.

Wow this story had everything. A very hot hero, a smart, independent heroine, a little danger and intrigue, chemistry that was amazing and of course a Bishop brother!!

This was such a great fast paced steamy short romance story that I loved. The story pulled me into Cole and Lucy’s lives and had my interest from the beginning. If you love protective possessive heroes with curvy women with a steamy romance than this book is for you. It’s a great romance that pulled me in and kept my interest right to the end.

Rating 3.5 stars. Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review. This was a short and easy to read insta-love OTT romance. Because it's a short story, the story jumps right in without much preamble and some parts felt a little rushed to me. I usually prefer stories that allow the characters time to build up that connection, but these 2 wasted no time at all getting frisky. But there was some cute and funny dialogue that kept things light and easy and the epilogue was sweet.

This was a cute twist on a pirate story. Cole was undercover on a rescue mission and Lucy was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Honestly I felt like there was another story I missed as it seemed a lot of things were hinted at in regards to Prince Anders and Princess Astrid’s yacht, but it sounds like Astrid is at least getting a story. Overall, I liked it. Lucy was fun and brave, Cole was everything you want in a hero. Good, quick read.

Protective Broody Alpha Male
This book was not what I was expecting. I went in expecting this to be about a female sold to a pirate and she falls in love either him due to forced proximity/falling in love with her "owner"
I loved Coles protectiveness over Lucy and Lucy's weariness to trust Cole. Protective instincts in a female is a must in my mind and the fact that the author wrote that in there made me love the book.
I could have loved it more if we had more. More story of the after. But it is what it is.

Lucy wakes up on the yacht hungover and not seeing anyone she recognizes. She meets Cole and he takes her to his room and lets everyone know that she is with him and he is keeping her. This is a great short but very interesting read. Lucy knows she can trust Cole but he cannot tell her out right why he can trust her. This is an instant attraction story and it kept me with the story from start to finish. Just a great story. Who doesn't like a good pirate story.

This short story moved along quickly and had parts that worked for me and some parts I wanted a little bit more from as I had unanswered questions about things that happened and leading up to the main event. However, I liked Lucy and Cole, they had good chemistry , went well together, and I liked seeing them get a chance at a HEA.

After a night partying with royalty, she wakes up, in the wrong place at the wrong time. He's working undercover and can't tell her she's safe without blowing his cover. Her tells her to trust him, her head tells her differently. Their attraction is instant and steamy. This is was a really great story that also wrapped up the stories of the Bishop brothers. I loved all of their stories! Fern Fraser is the best! Must read!

Cole and Lucy are totally crazy and a little ridiculous, but it works for them!
Yes there is the serious side at the start of the book and Lucy is very lucky it is Cole that finds her but I really like that together they are fun, sexy and a little bit naughty. I cannot wait for more books in the series and look forward to meeting the rest of Cole's Pirate team. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

This is such a great story and insta love story filled so much suspense, and chemistry and romance and bad pirates and an ex seal and prince and princess. You are absolutely going to love it. Cole is ex seal and working undercover for wrong side but when he sees Lucy on board the yacht he will do everything he can to save her from pirates.

Cole is having second thoughts about this job but he made a commitment and will see it thru. When he sees that there is still someone on the yacht, he will do all he can to protect her from the scum on the boat.
She is scared but she also feels a pull toward Cole that has her second guessing her normally good instincts.

A really good book
It was fun reading about Cole and Lucy's exploits. Open seas, bad guys, good guy, a lone passenger (Lucy) and intrigue makes a great story. Cole is out to save a prince but it requires he work with some bad guys. Lucy gets abandoned on the ship which means she's at their mercy. Cole is there to protect her. Read what they go through. I enjoyed it a lot. Written by Cindy :)
It was fun reading about Cole and Lucy's exploits. Open seas, bad guys, good guy, a lone passenger (Lucy) and intrigue makes a great story. Cole is out to save a prince but it requires he work with some bad guys. Lucy gets abandoned on the ship which means she's at their mercy. Cole is there to protect her. Read what they go through. Ex DEAL Cole takes a job to help Prince Andrew for his death. Unfortunately he finds Lucy passed out in one of the state rooms. Lucy is terrified but senses the scared man isn't going to hurt her. The crew of pirates Cole hired to perpetuate the ruse want the beauty so he ends up giving them his fee to keep her unharmed. Once he falls in a rescue zodiac they head for a secluded villa and things progress rapidly.

Lucy is currently scouting new clients in Greece. After a party she wakes up in am unfamiliar surrounding and kidnapped by pirates. Cole is an undercover private agent and acts like one of the pirates. As soon as he sees Lucy he knows she is his future wife and mother of his children. They fall hard and fast but need to stay hidden on the yacht. Instalove, sweet,steamy, romantic , OTT and safe with a sweet HEA and no drama😍😍😍😍

An intriguing read read from start to finish. Lucy is left on a boat taken over by pirates. Cole is retired military but still seeks excitement. For this job he’s playing the bad guy but when he finds Lucy on the boat he’s just taken over, all plans change and keeping her safe is the most important of all. This was a fast paced instant attraction romance. The characters complimented each other and made found their HEA. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

An enjoyable short story. Lucy wakes up with a hangover and realises she has been left behind on a yacht which has now been taken over by pirates. Cole is undercover when he realises a woman, called Lucy, has been left behind and is in danger. Cole knows she is the woman for him and will protect her no matter what. A great story with good characters and a happy ending.

Talk about right place at the wrong time. Lucy finds herself in an unexpected situation, although how she got there was a little vague. Cole is undercover and together they find each other and a way out. Completely OTT story but it was fun. The characters are great and it's a fast, enjoyable read.

The author has given us a fast-paced, quick read that pulls us into the lives of Cole and Lucy and does not let go. With Lucy being in the wrong place at the wrong time, she encounters fear, danger and sexy Cole. But will he be able to keep her safe?
