I loved this book!
The characters are amazing and I love them. Well, most of them…I was highly annoyed at some (iykyk). Captain is my favorite - poor traumatized child 😢 Also Brown Bear, for obvious reasons. Also, Will is a great POV character, and I love his development - the way he learns to deal with his struggles, and recognize his flaws. Like you do not understand how much I love it okay 🥹
I really liked the plot; the twists were great - although I did feel like some of them could have used more foreshadowing. Also, some parts felt rushed, especially at the end. One other thing that bothered me somewhat in this book is that there are a lot of grammatical and spelling mistakes.
Something I loved: the themes woven throughout. Home, family, belonging, and more; plus, the themes are added in really well, not just dumped in haphazardly. Kind of on that note, there are so many fantastic lines that I HAD to highlight.
This book is totally clean, also, which I love of course. All in all: I absolutely loved reading Lost Boy; it’s a fantastic Peter Pan retelling, and I can’t wait for the sequel to be published!
