I found this book when I was first a "recovering catholic", and the insider's scoop into the early aspects of the religion and the alternative view of Jesus were really influential on me at the time of reading it (late 80's). I ended up buying the entire series that Szekely put out based on this book, but this is still the best place to start.

Communion
This is an excellent guide in how we need to commune with all of the forces in nature and the spiritual worlds and to become one with each other.
