The papers collected in the present volume are, in large part, based on lectures given at the Symposium on Non-standard Analysis which took place in Oberwolfach during the period July 19 - July 25, 1970. Participants at the conference were given the option of submitting papers in addition to, or in place of, those read at the Symposium. Accordingly, we have in all cases stated the date at which the manuscripts were received by the editors.
