Ms. Erica Wade This journal helped me cope with everyday life. The daily scriptures and prayers inspired me to stay positive when I was going through difficult times. The poems were inspirational and refreshing; I sensed God's presence. God's blessing is within this journal and you can feel every word as you read and meditate.
I also shared the devotions with my children. As we read together, we drew closer to God-no matter what, God is always there for you. I gained strength and was able to trust God more in everyday life. It turned my negative thoughts into positive ones, increasing my belief and faith in God. Providing spiritual insight
Ohio author Shirley A. Howard earned her degree in Education from Cleveland State University, and in Clinical Pastoral Counseling and Ministry from Ashland Theological Seminary, and in is a retired high school teacher, an ordained minister and Christian counselor, and focuses her workshops and classes on spiritual growth and wholesome Christian living. Her books to date - INSPIRATION FOR LIFE’S JOURNEY, a collection of poems, and now EVERY DAY WITH JESUS – a book in journal format ‘birthed out of a deep, heartfelt desire to encourage family members, friends, and readers who face daily challenges and extreme difficulties. With this journal I aim to help the reader develop an intimate relationship with God and to help those who already know Him to become much closer.’ The book begins with January 1 and progresses daily through December 31, offering themes, scripture references with explanations, and prayers for each day - moments of reassurance and inspiration. A well-written and thoughtful Christian journal.

Every Day with Jesus Devotional: God Loves and Cares for You by A Howard, Shirley is a compilation of poems, messages and verses from Bible for everyday motivation. The journal contains vast context pertaining to not lose hope through difficulties of any sort and to hold on to faith that everything will get better. There is a theme for each day and words that will motivate your thoughts and ground them towards better possible vision.
There is also space provided to put down your thoughts and what you reflect upon. There is something for each day to read and ponder on. As you go through the journal, there is abundance of data regarding achieving peace and calm unto oneself and more encouragement on the value of goodness and the satisfaction of staying on the correct path and how endurance brings about the best in faith and belief. A different positive message for everyday, for people of faith with this devotional journal.

This is a practical, positive, easy to understand, scriptural and inspirational piece of work.
I can’t begin to describe exactly how insightful and amazing this book is and how many things I learned after reading it.
Shirley Howard has a very brilliant mind that put all her knowledge about Catholicism into beautiful poems, biblical extracts and interesting messages. This was, in my particular case, a reminder that God loves me deeply and he will always be there for me. It’s a quick but unforgettable read. I can’t wait to look more into what this author has to offer.
I would recommend this book to everyone, especially those who need encouragement, a bit of faith or just unconditional love.

A Devotional for Every Day with Jesus: God Loves and Cares for You by A Howard Shirley's book is full of wonderful poems and religious passages that will encourage you every day.
The author is fantastic, and he has developed a book that is well-written, entertaining, and inspiring.
The book took me two sittings to read it. As I read, I highlighted and took notes. Christian literature may be hugely helpful in the development of a strong connection with God. Prayer and reading, which are done with persistence, discipline, and love, are one of the ways He can reveal His words to each person.
Honestly worth a read if you want to face into making some positive changes in life.

I just fell in love with this book. It’s superb, interesting, compelling and a very humbling read. Loaded with short poems and verses from the Bible, this journal is absolutely captivating. It’s so simple, yet PROFOUND, that every piece of work included in this title will be kept in my mind forever!
I enjoyed Shirley's teachings; she’s down to earth and her thoughts are very clear. She shows in a sublime way that without the unconditional love of Jesus, there is no hope!
Every believer should have a copy of this book, or why not, any person that needs to renew his or her faith. I found this piece incredibly helpful, grounding, and empowering and I really recommend it!

Many are searching. They want answers. They desire peace. A peace that will be lasting and not momentary. Everyday with Jesus written by Shirley Howard found the one who gave her greatest peace: Jesus. To her the word was everything. To her the word was life! This life she desired to share with others. She put this desire in words through this devotional book. Each day one will reflect on the world and ask the Lord to show them a new truth! Any devotional related to Jesus Christ brings my heart great joy. I am grateful many desire others to know Jesus Christ, and his word. I began to read a little and hope others will go deeper and find a new peace they have ever experienced!

These short daily devotions help the reader remember the important truths of what being followers of Jesus is all about. It's a designated opportunity for everyone in the building to stop and reset their minds.
This is the first time I read a devotional book and I must admit that I loved it. The reading is short, but with a great message that fills us with hope every day. I really recommend this great book for everyone who wants to receive God in their lives.
