Not my cup of tea. The black and white images were Adamsesque, and obviously well done. Ward mostly used a 4x5 camera and good old fashioned film. The quality of the material used and his restrained flair for composition were evident. But it was too much of a stretch for me personally to appreciate the conspicuous consumption shown in the carefully designed and coifed lawns, buildings, and decorative touches. Afraid that the tasteful and understated elegance was lost on me.
