Gotta love some enemies to lovers brainrot, the writing isn't the best and the story and world is meh, but it's VERY enjoyable and fun to read, not everything needs to be Shakespeare, some things are just fun

read the Webtoon version for JUST this specific part (part 1 of the series) since I found the Webtoon before i realized it was a webnovel. Not sure how true to the novel the Webtoon is so I’ll be noting stuff based on the toon.
First, I really like the MC ! He’s so cute and really tries his best, and he may be a little naive but he’s also so young and I think that makes sense for his age. Cutie pie 🥹 baby girl energy fr. Also I love that they make the ML darker skinned (everyone is kinda racially ambiguous tbh) but they still consider him very handsome despite the darker skin. I’m currently studying abroad in Korea now and the colourism here definitely exists (and I fit their pale beauty standard, but many of my foreigner friends do not and I do clearly see how differently we are treated even though we both speak similar amounts of Korean), so I’m glad to see some “breaking the norms” here with the “desirable character” being a person of darker skin for once!
For the Webtoon, 4 star overall but for enjoyment it’s a solid 5! I’ll leave it at 4 though since I’m unsure of how different the Webtoon is from the webnovel, and I am surely a LOT pickier with translation quality in novels than I am with webtoons haha 😅
