Tastes Like Misery
Has Vivian finally met her match with the three sinfully delicious, dangerous men?
I’m tired of living in this small town in Texas where the most interesting thing that happens is when the local drunk falls asleep in cow pies. Working at the local bar, the only thrill I can find is going to the city and luring businessmen into my game. I leave them hot and bothered while I relieve them of their valuables.
I did pretty damn good until I targeted him. Dane, the man who caught me and gave me one hell of a ride. Literally.
Imagine my surprise when he rolls into my town with his partners in crime, Finn and Ollie, and asks for the same drink I still taste on his tongue from our night together. I should stay away, but my mama always said I’d never be happy with a simple life.
They have big plans, ones that will give me everything I’ve ever wanted and more. Their initiation is only the first part, and I have no idea all I’m signing up for until I do it. It doesn’t matter, though, because I crave not only what lies ahead, but also them, all of them. All I know is they promise a wild ride, one that will test my limits.
What else can a woman like me do? I say buckle up and try to stay ahead of the law as we raise hell across the country.

This book blew me away. It grabbed me and would not let me go no matter what I needed to do. It moves along at a speed which is perfect for the direction that the story takes. It has interesting and unique characters that you will love and a story that will not disappoint and keep you reading until the end. This book is a must read. you will not be sorry that you did.

Hate the fmc.
I don’t like when the fmc talks all about how she had no problem stealing boyfriends, and how the boyfriends loved her because she was willing to give them what their “prude” girlfriends wouldnt. She talks about having sex with someone’s boyfriend when they were younger. When she and her men go for payback she gives the guy a “drug that will make him need to have her and forget everything the next day” like what is this? Him and his gf didn’t even really do anything to the fmc.. she slept with him so the girlfriend has every right to be pissy with her? Then her and her men commit murder of the bank employees without any reason? They also talk about making their assistant “disappear” when they are donw with her. This group is just a bunch of murderers

Steamy
It was good. But got kinda boring about halfway through. It was kinda unbelievable at the beginning when they all magically fell in love and told all their secrets to a women they knew was a con artist... After spending months on a plan that could have ruined their lives. Idk was kinda just fishy and had me side eying the book a little. Like really! For womanizers y'all are falling for this after a couple hours and some deep throating? Mmm I doubt it. But okay. So I got to about halfway and starting skimming ... The steam really wasn't even worth it to me by then and I just was trying to finish. The last bit was a shocker and a nice little twist. All in all you could love it or leave it.

This book was an interesting read. I really enjoyed how hot, dark and spicy it was. It grabbed me right in the beginning, and I enjoyed the flow of the story. The characters were well developed and I loved the development of the relationships throughout the story. This book gave me a bit of Bonnie and Clyde vibes when I was reading it.
The FMC Vivian is definitely different and she does what she has to–make ends meet. She definitely met her match in Dane, Ollie and Finn. Not only that, the sexual tension between these characters was so much fun to read.
Overall, good story and I sure enjoyed everything about the story.

Great book
I got this book months ago and it’s sat in my tbr list . I decided I needed to start reading it and I devoured it . This is a first book from Melody Calder and it was fab the story was really good and the main characters were perfect . Viv was amazing I loved her interaction with Dane and how she played him at the beginning also her sarcasm towards Ollie was perfect and the fact he couldn’t take it had me laughing at him. The twists and turns kept me riveted especially that ending which was amazing .

Brilliant read. This story was not what I expected but I enjoyed every minute.
Vivian is just doing what she has to, to make ends meet, her dead end town has nothing going for it. so She has to think outside the box to make sure that she can make rent. But her next Target Dane, well she seems to have met her match in Dane, especially when he rocks up later with his friends in tow.

Tastes like Misery gave me major Bonnie and Clyde vibes well if Bonnie had 3 guys. Hustler/Pick-Pocketer - Vivian gets outplayed when the mark - Dane turns it back on her. Only for that to turn into an opportunity for her. A not only lucrative one but an action packed and very sexual one too. Blimey was this was a cracking read with characters i loved and plenty steamy scenarios. Add to that one hell of an ending. i just loved it

Fudge this book is so dang HOT, SPICY and DARK - Vivian is one psychotic beotch and Dane, Ollie and Finn all feed into it but they are not men without demons of their own. In their rampage through the South they discover that their darkness calls to each other and they have found a love that works for them.
This Bonnie and Clyde story keeps you on your toes and has you going in all the best ways. I love this anti hero tale and appreciate it in all its darkened glory.

Vivian and her harem- what a ride. This story caught me up and threw me into the action. I love it when I get immersed like that. Made me think of Bonnie with three Clydes. Our author delivers a spicy tale with a great storyline and characters. Dane, Ollie and Finn made long range plans and then Vivian is brought in. Is she being set up? Will there be a HEA? With so much action, danger and intrigue, this is one story you need to read.

Let's go for a ride
This is my first book from this author and wow Idk why I haven't read her before. If you like action,spice, murder then this is definitely the book for you. I loved seeing these masculine aholes fall for Vivian and phew with the steamy scenes which there are plenty of. I really enjoyed the ending, it was definitely a twist I did not see coming. Can't wait to read more from this author.

What a ride!
I enjoyed this so much, as well as being hot as hell, the storyline was fantastic. By the time I was at 90% of the book, I was getting really worried about how it would end, would they be caught or killed, were they setting up Viv to take the fall? It was brilliant!

Calder hit it out of the park! This Bonnie and Clyde x3 was everything I didn’t know I needed. From the first page till the last Viv is holding her own along side 3 rough and tough criminals. This journey was a thrill and I never knew what was going to be thrown at me next, BUT the ending I NEVER saw coming. Can’t wait to see what Calder releases next.

August 21, 2022DNF at 62%. I love the plot but the delivery isn’t doing it for me. I’m used to books sucking me in and I’ve stopped/started this book multiple times now. The flow of the story seems a little choppy to me. I’m going to take a break for now and read others on my TBR. Hopefully I can circle back and finish this.

Hard pass
This was really bad. Either English isn't this author's first language, or she just didn't bother to edit at all. The characters are complete unlikable. Seriously, I hated every single one of them and was actually rooting for the law enforcement agencies to catch them. Hard pass for me on anything else from this author.

dark romance at its finest
This is my first book by this author and it was an amazing read. Intense, dark RH that is everything you want in a dark romance. There is murder, intrigue, steamy interludes and an storyline that keeps you reading and even better is the HEA.

Great read.
This was a fun ride of a book, great twist on the Bonnie and Clyde story. Loved the dynamics between Vivian and all her men, and the angst between the men as they came to terms with their jealousy.

This was a great read. it was intense and sometimes left you wanting more. I really got into reading this book and sad to see it end. It had a wonderful ending and I'm glad things ended on good note.
