Fate was supposed to be mine. Ever since we were little, I pictured my life with her. But that was the thing about fantasies, sometimes they never came true. I’d lost her. And I let her go because I thought she was happy. When an unplanned visit home puts her in my path again, I realized I was wrong. First, I had to save her. Then I was going to claim her. She was meant to be mine and I wouldn’t let her go again.
Eve R. Hart has a habit of weaving stories laced thick with romance. They often bounce between awkward humor and dark themes- sometimes making a scary combination of the two. It doesn’t matter how it comes, she just wants love to win at the end of the day.
Eve lives on the coast of North Carolina with their partner in chaos, three beautifully nerdy kids, and a ridiculously sweet dog. When they need a break, you’ll find Eve lost in a book, playing board games with her family, or whipping up something crazy in the kitchen.
Fate and Logan/Grass are the kids of Diesel and Ellie (Diesel) and Tank’s (Tank). The previous books hinted that the two had a special relationship, but the book opens with Grass leaving town because Fate is marrying someone else.
I had a couple issues, but the biggest is the plot was just dull. There’s very little going on. There’s pretty much one conflict/baddie that disappears for much of the book, then is dispatched within the same chapter he reappears.
Fate’s in a bad situation, but I wasn’t impressed with her at all. It made no sense that she wouldn’t have confided in her MC family, so they could take care of her problem (like they did as soon as they found out) Plus, she felt sort of selfish… and her feelings felt manipulated. For example, It was dumb, and frustratingly boring. And not a good look cuz he had just risked everything to clean up a mess she made.
There were some other small issues like Fate being a complete wimp despite being raised in a MC club. And her having strawberry blonde (mom’s hair) and blue eyes (dad’s color) when it was reversed in her parent’s book when she was born. (dark hair with green eyes)
Bottom Line- This wasn’t bad, it was just boring. I’ve said this before, but her newer books lack any of the dicey/less-safe stuff that spiced up the earlier books. Grass is nothing of what you’d expect from a biker dude. He’s gentle, sweet, besotted, there are no club girls lurking about, and the one part that was violent-ish was written almost comically. I mean his road name is Grass… There’s nothing gritty, action-y, or drama inducing. He was perfect and Fate was wimpy. The end.
Grass and Fate are all grown up and finally get their happily ever after. This one gave me all the feels. These two have lots of chemistry and love. Grass and Fate had some bumps in their road to a HEA, but they finally get it. I loved Grass and Fate both individually and together. I saw them together when they were little and I knew it was inevitable. This was a good read. Seeing the older generation was interesting as well. I look forward to this next generation stories.
Next Generation of a favourite of mine I love MC so when I get a next gen of a MC I’ve been devoted to it’s always special Oh Grass was such a sweetheart and he loved Fate I can’t wait for more I need sparrow

We met Grass and thought we lost him in Tank's book. From the moment Fate was born and Grass laid eyes on her, we knew they were meant to be. But life happens and they go their separate ways. When something brings them back to Moon Hill, they finally see each other again. Grass has a gut feeling something is going on. He takes her away to the coast and sparks fly! Grass definitely not only got his good looks from his dad but also his protectiveness. We also get to meet some of the new generation. Some we saw as kids and others they've met along the way. This a fantastic start to the next gen. Can't wait to see whose next.
What a fantastic start to the next generation stories. To start with my favourite, Grass, was a dream come true.
I love this author's words and she did not disappoint. I fell in love with them as a couple, and truly cannot wait to see how the others in this series fair.
It was also great to catch up with the originals, though poignant.
Fate finally got the man of her dreams. Grass knew from a young age, who his woman was to be. Shame that she didnt lean on him when she first needed it. It took the loss to the mc to bring them together and to open everyones eyes that Fate needed their help. Logan stepped up to bring his woman home. Loved it
A great start to the next generation of the steel paragons little Grass and baby fate have grown up and grown apart until a sad event brings them back together a great read loved catching up with the moon hill chapter would have loved to have known what happened to Iron
