Verity is a tragic romantic thriller by Colleen Hoover . The novel is written in first-person present tense from the perspective of two characters, Quinn and Booth. The story follows their love affair and the events that lead up to a devastating tragedy.

Quinn and Booth are both damaged people who find solace in one another. They are both trying to come to terms with their pasts, and they provide each other with the support and understanding that they need. However, their relationship is not without its problems. Booth is still dealing with the aftermath of a horrific event that happened when he was younger.

The novel tells the story of two estranged childhood friends, who reconnect as adults and fall madly in love. However, their relationship is shrouded in tragedy and secrets from the past. The book is written in dual perspectives, alternating between the male and female characters.

The story is heartbreaking, but also beautifully written. Hoover draws her characters so realistically that the reader can't help but feel invested in their story. The plot is full of twists and turns, and will keep you guessing until the very end.
