This trivia book is set up like a multiple-choice test—but one certainly more fun than you ever took in school! The author divides the trivia into categories, like Famous Failures and Time Can Tell. Answers are at the end of each section. Throughout the book are photos of seniors trying to look cool or otherwise mugging for the camera. (Honestly, I wasn’t wild about these.) Some of this “trivia” is more like fun facts than trivia; more than a handful would be unknown to most people. I think trivia should at least have the possibility of being known by a wide variety of people… or to my mind, it is more of a fun, obscure fact. Looking at the questions and answers, I didn’t see where most of them seemed like they were targeting seniors. In fact, many questions were about contemporary people and events. I wish the answers were more than just their multiple-choice letter. The backstory of many of them intrigued me. All in all, I was hoping for a better book, as I do love trivia.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
