Attorney Royce Parker has had the hots for Michelle Kincaid for a couple of years and decides it's time to do something about it. Bound by Passion
This book was pretty good. I would have liked to see Michelle put up more of a fight. It seems that she gave in too easily for a woman with so many domineering issues.

This is what love between an Alpha male and an Alpha female looks like!
Royce and Michelle were both battling being involved and dominating each other to the point the love crept upon them and moved them forward to their happily ever after. I believe I read this story before I want to say it was in one of the "Playa" series. I am glad I have now read it as a stand alone novel. I am glad both Royce and Michelle allowed themselves permission to see each other's strong demeanor as something to embrace as opposed to a cause for conflict!! A really good heartwarming story that gave us another perspective of falling in love Alpha style!

Another vacation read, but it was not may favorite. Royce and Michelle belong together because they both got on my nerves.
Michelle has issues and very childless, she is a complete 360 from her sister Dominique. Royce is still trying to be a party boy but I must admit he is way more mature than Michelle. After the cat and mouse chase, their vacation was very spicy but Michelle's lack of listening, temper tantrums and controlling attitude would not allow Royce to show his character of being a man that will protect his woman's safety, peace and reputation when he made a decision without her knowing.

If I heard one more time about Michelle needing control, I was going to scream. Michelle proves that even with loving marriages in your family, you can still come off as harsh. She fights Royce tooth and nails. The relationship was largely sexual but with real time spent together, it became something more. That was Royce's doing. Michelle was still fighting. There's strength in falling in love and having someone share the burden and the decision-making.
I would have given this book 2 stars. The extra star is for Royce's character.

I listened to the audiobook. It's the equivalent of a passionate quickie. Well-read by Ron Butler. Highly recommended for women with "control issues" and the men who (try to) love them.

Never disappointing
Brenda Jackson is never disappointing I've always enjoyed reading her books and it makes me feel like I'm right there with the characters her and Frances Ray God bless her soul with the only books I would read at one time. Now we have so many great new authors coming up that I know they are friends with such as Beverly Jenkins and Sharon Cooper

Great read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. Jordan and Michelle’s love story was filled with chemistry and the competition of two like mined individuals. They are true soulmates.

This book was captivating. I loved it. Royce and Michelle matched one another in dominance and control, but made it work and were able to fall In love with one another. There love came to a head, fully embraced it, and set out on there journey to FOREVERMORE!
