An absolute page-turner!

With a masterful turn of his phrases, Roger made this book into a pilot-to-pilot's snapshot of what actually happens in the cockpit. AND in his tumultuous life. As a retired airline captain, I marveled at his vivid retelling of his flying escapades. Roger even handles his difficult life story with grace and aplomb. Everyone, even non-pilots, will love this book. For pilots, it is the banter one hears in the cockpit or on layovers. You will not be able to put it down!

Best book I have read all year. The author is so honest about his life you feel like he has become your best friend by the end of the book. It is a depressing and uplifting book at the same time, you will laugh and cry. Plenty of information about flying in an interesting and understandable format.

Great read for everyone

Honestly, not my typical book to read but the title and cover bought me a chapter to try it. After that I was hooked til the end. While it’s clearly written by a pilot it is easy to read for non fliers. Great book!
