Do You Know How God Loves You? Once you realize that God has designed you for His pleasure and for you to enjoy living in the light of His love, you can enjoy all your life every day. Nothing else matters as much as God’s love for you. You will never know the fullness of God’s love until you give Him all that you have. When you give Him your life, He will give it back to you to serve His purposes. Whatever you are facing, the Lord is near to take your hand and lead you through it. In His love He will give you joy, peace, and confidence. When you seek Him, He will show you His glory.Mary Lou Cheatham – story cookbook author, novelist, teacher, and registered nurse – has written an inspirational thought for each day of the year with passages of scripture to contemplate daily. Do You Know How God Loves You? illustrates the ways God loves you with Bible-based studies. Meaningful stories provide inspiration to face life’s daily challenges.
Welcome to the world of Mississippi-born author Mary Lou Cheatham. Here you will find lively stories about life in the early 1900’s on the farm and in a small village—stories filled with danger close to home, romance, and moral conflicts. Daily life can include unexpected danger interrupting the routine of living in a more primitive time. Also come and explore life in modern rural south Louisiana. Mary Lou’s novels center around families as they face life’s challenges. In every story she includes touches of romance.
This is a Christian devotional which will provide comfort to many.
Ms Cheatham’s new book will provide food for the souls of many Christians. Each of us addresses spirituality in different ways and this book will provide a path for many seeking some structure and outline. Devotionals are often highly traditional and earnestly exhortative without truly engaging the reader to participate in a relationship with God.
This devotional invites Christians to examine their relationship with God on a daily basis. By using contemporary language and modern examples it is more readily accessible than many of the 19th century devotionals with which I am more familiar. The love with which Ms Cheatham has prepared this devotional is apparent. If you are a Christian, this book may well provide you with inspiration. If you know a Christian who is struggling with their faith, this may well be an appropriate gift. I cannot directly see the hand of Mr Elliott, the editor, in this work anymore than I can directly see the hand of God. But I feel certain that both played a part in enabling Ms Cheatham to prepare this banquet for the soul.
