This wasn't a bad first issue, I just couldn't get into it. Maybe I should read the Radiant Black series?

I know it isn’t the same creative team, but I like the opening to Red netter than Black. This issue was a good teaser for the story and was compelling enough, even though it’s mostly a set up for what’s to come.

Not much happens in this one except. Some things presented in Radiant Black are expanded upon but not really much.
