Lucy loves all the colors of the world. She spends her days exploring them and her nights dreaming of them. But something happens, and she forgets about all the colors except red. Soon her obsession takes over the whole house. Will Lucy be stuck seeing only red? Or will she remember how colorful the world really is?
Carrie Turley writes books filled with magic and imagination that remind children life is full of courageous heroes. She loves spending time with her family and can often be found in a world of make-believe, with her eight grandchildren pulling her along.
Great book on colors and self-discovery! What a bright, colorful, festive book! And the story is darling! I love how she experiences how taking any good thing to an extreme becomes a problem. The realization that she can love all the colors is pretty special, too!
This book is so beautiful. It perfectly captures the simplicity of seeing the world around us for how it really is, rather than how we sometimes perceive it.
