I think this book is really important to have in the classroom for children to experiment with. Each page gives children a better understanding about an aspect of color or light. It provides exercises for children to do to experiment what happens when you do certain things with light. Also the illustrations are helpful and guides the children to show them exactly how to do the exercise. By children experimenting hands on really gives them a better understanding of how each aspect works. It asks children "what do you think you will see?" before they do each activity. This really stimulates their mind and gets them thinking deeper into the explanation for why its happening.
