The Start of Something Great

It's been a while since I've visited the early stories and I must say that I really love the start of Charlotte and James' relationship. He's commanding and can be demanding but he takes care to be patient and kind to our innocent Charlotte. Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic!

Quite good, very steamy so much so that I can’t put it into words, let’s just say extreme steam is included.

Lacks sufficient story tbh to keep me wanting to buy the next book, but this was entertaining if that’s your taste.

Told by Charlotte's point of view, she had voluntarily put her virginity up for auction. 22 years old, certified as a virgin. All bids are final except if Charlotte does meet the terms of the contract: willingly serve the top bidder in any way he requires for one week. This is her opportunity of a lifetime. She'll receive 50% of the bid after the week is over, the auction house receives 50%. But she is terrified.
Her new master asks her how much she's hoping to make from the auction, explaining although the total he paid was large, it wouldn't put her completely through school and explained there were other men at the auction who would pay to play games with her. Charlotte's not sure how that will work and needs time to think on this.
Simone Leigh has lead her characters through the emotional journey of a sex slave auction and the taking of her virginity in such a way, it will leave you mesmerized. What an exhilarating book.

This is the first short story in the Buying the Virgin series by Simone Leigh. We meet Charlotte who has decided to sell herself and her virginity to the highest bidder at an auction so she can earn money to pay for college. She is bought by James and he pretty much makes her first time like unicorns and rainbows. There is some spice in this book, but it is mostly just introducing us to the characters and the arrangement they make. I am pretty sure James is going to drop the hammer, so to speak, in the next story. Charlotte seems naive and I am not sure she is aware of what is about to go down! I am definitely hooked already and plan on diving right into the next one!

Jumping all in to the unknown
Charlotte auctions herself for her college fund. The winning bid is by Master James who offers her a chance to raise more college funding by additional activities with other bidders. James' friend, Michael increases Charlotte's experiences with James. By the end of the week, they part happy with the knowledge that they shared many experience with Charlotte. The men exchange their business cards with Charlotte in case she ever needs anything and Charlotte gives James her contact info as well. It leaves open the chance for another book.

This is the first book by Simone I have read. Charlotte has dreams of going to college but she doesn’t have the funds. She has decided to auction off her virginity. She doesn’t expect to show as much of herself as she does. But it works. She gets more than she thought she would. And another offer. This book is steamy and interesting. It is a super quick read. Great job Simone. Looking forward to reading the next one in the series.

This was a short one. I know it is a part of a series and I even have the whole series...but to be honest this one didn't capture my attention at all.

Normally, going in and knowing it is more of a novella grouped with a bunch of novellas to make a whole story is fine with me...but this one I wasn't hooked at all when the first book ended...so I think will just move on to something else.
