Book two in the Stony Point Cove series is an emotional and inspirational beach read that kept me totally immersed in all that was happening from the first to the last page. I like the relatable characters and enjoyed getting to know Halen and Lionel who are trying to heal from their past so they can move forward. If you enjoy beach romance with a touch of mystery and a feel good story, don't miss Causing Waves by Molly Maco. I look forward to book three in this must-read series.
Good, clean book and interesting characters. Halen’s divorce is final after three years of her husband doing everything to extend it. She’s now working at Stormy Point Cove Spa and Resort. Lionel works next door at Tempest House. He’s trying his best to survive after a tragedy in his past. Can these two troubled people help each other heal? *I received this book for free for my unbiased review.
Well, the story continues to get more exciting! A new large resort and spa vs an older established holiday resort. The people that run and work at the businesses, along with their trials and problems. *I was given this book to read and review by the author for my honest review.
This is another one of the so called series that take situations that don’t even make a good short story, let alone an entire book, and try to convince you it’s a decent series. It also needs a decent proofreader.
This starts with the back-story of the sequel’s two main characters, which prepares the reader to pick up at the ending scene of Rough Seas with the same bunch of people. Similar to watching a TV series episode begins with “as seen previously on…”. That worked really well; in fact, much better than other books that repeat information throughout as a reminder to the reader.
As in the prequel, the people were realistic yet still charming (well, when they wanted to be charming). Also, the plot ran smoothly with some touching additions that added depth.
