I’m all for glass slippers, lovable beasts, and a prince riding a stallion. But never have I ever read the story about falling for my bestie’s daddy.
I felt the need for an adventure. A solo girl’s trip and my bestie’s wedding in Italy gave me the perfect destination.
Foolish me.
I bought the one-way ticket leaving my family and our ranch behind.
Sheltered me.
Thanks to a time zone mix-up, I arrive early and bump into a kind silver fox. A man twenty-four years my senior with a sinful body, husky laugh, and enticing eyes.
Adventurous me.
I give in and surrender to the adventure. To the blaze, he ignites every time we touch. And I live in the moment for one night, confident my little secret is a secret.
Then I arrive for the wedding festivities and realize the man I left with a fake name is the bride's father.
Oh, and my silver fox and one-night stand is my bestie’s dad.

The age gap in this one was crazy. I'm not sure how I feel about the best friend's dad as the catch. Twenty years is a huge gap. What do they have in common other than the sex. Shrugs... Oh well.
This is part of the May December Romance Series but is read as a standalone. This series features age gap romances with older men and younger women. She was in town for her bestie's wedding and arrived early due to a time mix up. London and Giovanni met in Italy in front of his restaurant. The attraction was instant and their chemistry was explosive. What happens when she finds out her new gorgeous silver fox is her bestie's father? How do they handle their new found love? What does her college BFF think about their new found love? This was a great story that was a short, fun read. The story line will capture your attention right at the beginning. The characters are well defined and likable. I read a free advance copy via Bad Boy Updates and voluntarily chose to review it.
London desired what her mother and father had with over forty years of a loving marriage. She knew why she was drawn to Italy early for her best friend's wedding when she laid eyes on John outside of the restaurant.
John knew she was "the one" when he first saw her. His children were now grown with their own lives. He'd sacrificed his life to raise his children alone, now with them gone, he was ready to live his life but not alone.
All hell broke loose when John turned out to be London Grace's best friend's father. Nina was highly protective of her father from golddiggers. But John/Giovani was determined to keep London in his life regardless of how his daughter felt. He wanted London in his life forever and wanted a HEA with her and that's what they got.
This was a quick read about a May/ December romance and how to navigate telling his children when one was a highly protective daughter and best friend. Giovani did well in explaining his feelings for London and what he needed in his life. He was willing to do whatever it took to keep London happy.
London bought a one-way ticket from her home in Texas to her best friend's wedding in Tuscany. Due to an error in figuring time zone differences, London arrives a day early. She decides to take a walk and finds herself drawn to the Italian restaurant of her dreams. She doesn't fell suitably dressed, but yet she cannot seem to draw herself away from the window. From behind her a deep, sexy voice quizzes her about what she is doing, and London finds herself facing a distinguished, sexy silver fox who invites her to eat with him. John and 'Grace' find themselves unashamedly drawn to each other, but unfortunately there will be major repercussions to their joining. Will their newly found feelings for each other survive? I loved reading this story to see how their future would unfold. It was steamy, emotional and made me want to find an Italian silver fox of my own.

London bought a one-way ticket to Tuscany because she wants to have a little adventure. She arrives a day before her friend's wedding. When she is looking into a cafe a man comes out and invites her in. Giovanni is drawn to London from the moment he sees her. They end up talking until past time for the place to close. Then they end up back at his place and share an amazing night together. London leaves before he wakes up so she can go meet her friend and get ready for the wedding events. When her friend's father shows up she is stunned to see its the man she was with the night before. Will they get a chance to be together? What will her friend say about them being together?
This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

London buys a one-way ticket to her college BBF wedding in Italy hoping for some spice in her life. She's a couple days early and so she does a day-long hike of the area and the small town. Growing up in a small Texas town, she feels right at home although her lack of knowing the Italian language is a barrier. But as she stands so hungry staring through the window of the Italian restaurant smelling like 'all outdoors,' a handsome silver fox named John invites her in to have dinner with him. She knows she has hit the jackpot when he locks the front door and invites her upstairs. What she thinks is a one-night stand, turns into a 'torn' story when her friend introduces him as her 'Papa.' Torn between her love for her friend and her love for her friend's father, the rich millionaire makes a good read for sure!
I love the world that this is set in! London leaves the ranch with a one way ticket to Italy for her BFF's wedding. She wants an adventure, and she wants to fall in love with someone who will cherish her. She finds herself outside of a restaurant, debating whether to go in or not, when an unbelievable handsome man asks her to dine with him. He is everything she has been fantasizing about so she agrees to spend time with him. John has spent his whole life working and living for his 2 children, and now it's his time. London is everything he wants in a woman, but when she agrees to inside with him they both use fake names. One magical night is all they think they have, until London arrives at her BFF's house!!! Now the fun starts! I loved their short but so sweet and steamy story!!! I received this ARC from Bad Boy Updates.
HEA Standalone, interconnected characters *over 18 readers only * ONS, age-gap, best friend's dad
Trigger warnings 20+ yr age-gap (24-48)
She gets invited to a wedding in Italy just when she needs an escape. Her boyfriend had proposed, but she turned him down and left the country, knowing he wasn't her soul. She meets a silver fox outside a restaurant who invites her to dine with him. They both give "fake" names. Her - her middle name, him - a shortened, Americanized version of his real name. The night is perfect, and neither want it to end. So they end up having a ONS. The trouble is, neither know that they are connected by her best friend. And the best friend walks in at the worst possible moment...
I liked this story better than her sister's, the Major, story. (Except the age-gap, it's outside of what I normally like)
London Grace Lewis goes to Italy for her best friend Nina's wedding. Grace and Nina met in College and became besties. London buys a one-way ticket to her college BF's wedding in Italy hoping for some spice in her life. She's a couple days early and so she does a day-long hike of the area and the small town. Growing up in a small Texas town, she feels right at home although her lack of knowing the Italian language is a barrier. Giovanni is Nina's father and Grace does not know. Grace does not know how Giovanni's father looks like so she they meet and that is where this story takes off after a one night of hot sex. Loved this story but I love Age gap romances. Good Read. I recommend this book.
There was a lot I liked about this book. The interracial romance was great and the way Giovanni was so clear in his pursuit and intentions towards London was very romantic. Their chemistry was decent too. The interactions with her siblings were a little weird as I had no prior knowledge of their relationships and the situation with Nina was ridiculous. For her best friend to respond that way as an adult was incredible immature and unbelievable. Also, you should have the birth control situation before you sleep together the first time not the second time.

Where’s my ticket? Finding Love in Italy, is a 5 star read. It has family drama and family bonds. This probably one of my favorite shorts from Ja’Nese Dixon, thus far. The chemistry that she brings out of both John and Grace, ( you have to read it to know why I use these instead). I love every single one of her books. And this one is no different. I’m sooo looking forward to seeing more of this family and friends…

London is traveling to Italy for her best friend’s wedding, she decides to arrive a little early to explore. She meets a man that is that is close to her dad’s age, but everything clicks with him. They spend the night together, she leaves early in the morning. What she does not expect is the man she had a wonderful night with is her best friend’s dad.
This is a short and steamy read about finding something special when you do not expect it. What will her friend say when her dad wants something more?.
I received an Advance Readers Copy of this book with no obligation to write a review.
London travelled to Italy to attend her friends wedding. There she met Giovanni, it was love at first sight for them both! Things heated up quickly but London left him to get to the wedding. When the father of the bride arrived neither could believe it. Giovanni wasn’t going to let London go, he loved her and she was his future. There was a lot of angst with his daughter as she hated friends trying to get to her father or brother through her. Giovanni and London’s love was strong, they worked through this to a beautiful HEA. Sweet, steamy and fun instalove romance.

London arrived a few days early for her friend's wedding in Italy. She wanted to walk around and experience the city. While outside a restaurant talking to herself, she catches the eye of a gentleman/
Giovanni has spent the years taking care of the family business and raising his kids, seeing London at his restaurant has him catching himself.
Finding Love in Italy is a wonderfully written age gap story that is fill with family love, protectiveness and desire. They way fate brings London and Giovanni together will warm your heart while taking your emotions on a ride.

This is the story of an older man and a younger woman. London goes to Italy on a one way ticket for her best friends wedding. Arriving early she goes for a walk and arrives back in front of a restaurant with lovely smells coming out of. She decided she couldn’t go in as she wasn’t fresh smelling but just then John shows up and the chemistry flies between them. She says her name is Grace which is her middle name they share a meal and stay in the restaurant until after closing. Then John takes her upstairs. This is a short story with a twist I cannot wait to read more. I received an ARC for an honest review which I have given
What a book. May-December romance at its finest. What’s not to love about Italian Giovanni and American London. Age gap, get over it. His children are London’s age and his daughter is/was London’s best friend. But in both London and Giovanni’s defense they never shared their real names that fateful night. It was love at first sight and not family or his children would come between them or their love. Read this book and you will fall in love with Giovanni and London’s story! Wow. All men should love the way Giovanni loves London and the way London’s dad loves his daughters and his wife. Happy reading!
It not like her to go for a one night stand… she thought she would never see the handsome silver fox again, so why not enjoying a night of passion , after all that what she was yearning for?! ‘What done in the dark always comes to light’, 🤔 The stranger is none other than her best friend father, the father of the bride, the main reason she was in Italy!!! Their time together was more than physical, they connected and the feeling was deep, but they had to consider other people feelings … things got a little bit complicated. I love John and his mindset… the way he handled his daughter.
London goes to Italy to be part of her best friends wedding. While walking around the city she meets Giovanni. After a night of passion, she leaves to go to her friends place. There she meets her dad, who is the same man from the night before. The connection between them is intense, but they have the issue of her best friend/his daughter is against it. This was a great book, hot older man, steamy scenes, a little heartbreak and a HEA.

I fell in love with the Book sisters and the Advice they gave their Sister about the “D”. London fell in major lust with Giovanni Romano. while in Italy for her best friends wedding. Unbeknownst to London, the Silver Fox she meets there before the wedding turns out to be best friends daddy‘. They both unknowingly broke one of Giovanna rules. London and Giovanni are totally shocked when they meet at the dinner table. Giovanni knew that he had something special in London and he was going pursue her. I hope there will be other books on the sisters they are funny.
A quick read filled with romance, sexy stuff and family. London is in Italy for her bff's wedding. She meets an older stranger and spends the better part of a day with him. He speaks to her heart. Her handsome stranger turns out to be her bff's father. It is clear that love is strong between London and Giovanni. I wasn't surprised by Giovanni's daughter's response but was annoyed we didn't learn how things went. The other thing I think interesting is that for how mamma raised her girls that London wouldn't be on birth control!
“Finding Love in Italy” is an enjoyable read! Told in dual POV it’s told with humor, good dialogue, great world building details and likable multilayered characters. It is hopeful, romantic, thoughtful, complicated and passionate with strong family bonds. If you like a woman taking a chance and a man ready to do whatever he has to to keep her, you’ll love this story. From good food to good love - this one is a winner!.

I liked this story. It wad quick but passionate. Considering it was so short I still felt like I understood who the characters were and I could see the strong familial bonds. This was a 4 star read until the end I kind of felt like the ending left a little to be desired and the action wasn't as clear as it was earlier on in the book. Still I liked the story and I liked the fact that even though it was insta-love, they didn't run off and get married the next day the love got a chance to develop before they ended up together I liked that aspect.
I love the way Giovanni and London fell in love in Italy. This was a sensual ride but not without its problems since Giovanni and London had slept together not knowing that he was her best friends father. But love prevails and both decide to follow their hearts. So London leaves the family ranch in Texas, goes to Italy with a one-way ticket and falls in love. Giovanni is the man of her dreams and she gets that fairytale that she’s been dreaming of her entire life. This is a good story and I enjoyed it thoroughly! I highly recommend the May December Romance Series!
Maybe I should stay away from novellas because I invariably dislike most. Insufficient development. Instalove. No character development. I like the silver fox trope but this only had elements of it and didn't really go all in psychologically. The conflict was superficial and her relationship with her best friend was poorly developed. There were some sweet moments (like between him and his son) and i'm sure many people like this type of light read so keep writing what you're writing for them to enjoy. This doesn't ring my bell.
The author has given us a wonderful older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Giovanni and London and does not let go. They have one night, without even knowing their true names. When they realize who the other truly is, will she have to give us her best friend or the man of her dreams?

This is a May December Romance Series. This is a story for Giovanni and London. Well that is one way to meet forever. I loved how John AKA Giovanni meets London and falls fast for her and vise versa for London. But the twist comes when they meet back up for Giovanni's daughters wedding. You will laugh at this book.

This was a good read loved the characters, one of the problem I had was it had a few grammatical errors which suprises me because Ms. Dixon books that I've read had no errors like this one that said this was still a good read for me and I would recommend reading this book I think you will like it. It would be nice to see if his son and London's sister hit it off just saying. Good job Ms. Dixon please keep stories like this coming and thank you. 🙏👍❤
Great age gap romance with strong characters in London and Giovanni. They have a hot and steamy night together without realizing who the other is. Turns out he's her best fiends father. I loved their characters and the storyline. It's well written and moves quickly and smoothly with perfectly painted scenes and is a great read.
