This volume begins with how Yua ended up leaving home rebelliously and wanting to hop into the home of a man older than her. He ended up blocking her to avoid law problems (as she’s still a minor) and she ended up working for the nightlife at Tokyo.
From there, she first had her meeting with Harupi. Though, it ends there. I’m not sure but it does feel quite incomplete as I am curious to know if Yua really successfully cut off Harupi, or does she bear with the abuses.
Then it follows on a new story about Iori, or her real name is Runa — who is also in the same friendship circle with Rina and Yuki. Runa works in the soapload too, it made me think if this circle of friends are really fine 😭
At first, it appears that Runa is strongly doing all these for money. She really loves money, well, that is until she met her client — Manabe, who is also a famous streamer and is in a band.
Into the frame, another character made her debut — Poporo (or her real name is Kokoro), who is a die-hard fan of Manabe. She streams onto his contents without amiss, with hopes that he will notice her. This is the perspective of a fangirl who really admires her oshi. I have read similar stories (such as Idol, burning) so I can understand a bit here and there on the point of view of someone who really enjoys spending time and money for their oshi.
As the story progresses, I can see that Runa seems to have her personal belief and values scattered. She might have fallen for Manabe without realizing it, and it feels like quite a danger since she’s not expecting this to happen. When a soapland services person falls for someone, they might lose sight of their real purpose. I hope she chooses what’s best for her!
