Rate this book
You're no idiot, of course. You've heard of the HMS Bounty, the Titanic, and the Lusitania, and you're glad you weren't aboard any of them. But when it comes to knowing the exciting real-life details of the most famous sea disasters in history, you're not exactly a treasure chest of knowledge. Don't walk the plank yet! The Complete Idiot's Guide to Sunken Ships and Treasures is a compelling survey across centuries of ill-fated maritime maidens, from the Vikings and ancient Chinese junks to today.

Many interesting facts on the title subject. There's even a section called "Notable Pirates" - I'd forgotten that Sir Francis Drake was a one. Appendixes of glossary, sources for more ship & treasure facts, & list of wrecks.
