I received "ACE: Claimed by the Bear" as an ARC reader and thoroughly enjoyed Ace and Sabine's story. "Listening" to both of their thought processes as they worked through it all and the humor sprinkled in made it a fun read. I can't wait for Ms Vaughn's next book!

Fantastic
I must say this is amazing! What a great series of stories, they will bring a smile to your face. The characters are awesome and their chemistry burns up the pages. It's full of emotions and feisty sexy heroines with handsome heroes. I can tell you that you will enjoy the humor, especially if you don't mind the sizzling hot passion, plus if all else fells every page will keep you on the edge of your seat. Characters like these will draw you in to see how their character grow throughout the story and of course you won't be disappointed ,The end may seem like a cliffhanger but this may not be the end, so don't be too hard on the author because you get to laugh your until your side hurts until the end of this one! As I said before this is one of the best and since I have to stay at home anyway I have fell in love all over again with my reader! So I want you to grab this absolutely. captivating series. ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE BEST👩❤️👩💃❤

Another book in the Claimed by the Bear world that left me wanting more. This was a short but sweet and sexy book. The clans are going about finding mates for their males in a different way now. Years ago it was a call that was put out ... now DNA testing plays a part and 2 of the elders take an active role in pushing the future together. Ace is a warrior and so far he is the first to be pushed towards his mate in this manner. He is older and is sure that he will remain single forever. Until he follows Richard's and Donna's plan. He then meets Sabine in a bar and it is on. How to convince her they are soul mates and tell her what he is without her running for the hills. There is an HEA but it almost wasn't due to an over eager male.

A shifter romance with a sweet and happy ending. Ace is a werebear and has watched all his friends find their true mates and have kids. Now that he is older he is starting to believe a family may not be in his future. But two werebear elders may just be his fairy godparents. Soon he just may get his wish. The story has a lot of sweetness as mates are drawn to each other and things do heat up some.

Embracing midlife characters, this is a wonderful tale of finally having your heart fulfilled. The characters are realistic and ensnares you into their emotional journeys. The read is a quick on, perfect for that burst of exciting HEA. Even though it’s not a long read, you can feel like you are trapped in a time warp with no release until the tale is ended. Love this! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

Ace: Claimed by the Bear (Northeast Kingdom Bears Book 18) by V. Vaughn Is a fantastically amazing story that I have loved reading very much. This is book number eighteen in this fantastically amazing series that I have been hooked on since the beginning. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about bear shifters and paranormal romance.

A scientific mate-finding mission? Ace is ordered to go solo on his latest warrior mission; Sabine, a forty-something half is his target.
Enjoyable and magically fresh tale of older werebear romance. Likeable new characters and comfortable familiar ones. Good, easy read! 3 1/2 stars.

I thought it was a good read and the characters were likable. ACE thought he would never meet his mate and was skeptical when he was approached about it. I would have liked to see Sabine talked to him about her recurring dream. I can't wait to read the next book.

A sweet, sexy book that entertained from start to finish. I liked that Sabine and Ace found love in their forties. A fated mates story with lots of attraction, revelations and a satisfying HEA.

Sweet shifter romance with a bit of spice. Likable characters too, and the chemistry between Ace and Sabine is cute. I wasn’t a fan of some of Sabine’s thought processes in the beginning, but I enjoyed the story overall. Bear shifter Ace finds out that Sabine is his mate, so he sets out to woo her. That’s a bit difficult when Sabine has some walls up, and with the whole scenario of her not knowing about shifters. Overall, a nice, quick read.

This is Sabine and Ace's story in the Claimed by the Bear series and lets just say she feels that at forty-five she has watched all her friends find love and get married while she remains alone. Ace claims to be a bodyguard to hide the fact that he is a bear shifter till he can tell Sabine that he is her mate and once everything comes out in the open things are fine
