This was such an exciting introduction to the world of Valmenessia! This book features Nora, one of the MCs from Liars and Light, who is assigned a mission from her King to eliminate a threat to the crown.
We get a sneak peek into how the magic system works in Valmenessia, as well as the intriguing political maneuvers that Nora fulfills on behalf of the King. However, not everything may be as it seems, and this novella was the perfect teaser for what readers can look forward to in Liars and Light!
