His road name is Demon for a reason.

While his club brothers and most of the sweetbutts give Demon a wide berth, Cat finds herself drawn to his darkness. Demon pushes her away at every turn, claiming he's too old and incapable of loving anyone. But Cat fights for what she wants. And after years of pining over him, she'll finally have her way.

Doling out punishments for the Iron Vikings MC as the club’s Enforcer is the only thing that somewhat eases the blood-craving beast inside of Demon. Demon has been keeping an eye on Cat from the shadows while she grew up into this challenging, one of a kind and gorgeous young woman. If things were different, she would be perfect for him.

Unfortunately, life is no effing fairytale and Demon will certainly never be her Prince Charming. But by pushing Cat away, Demon will make damn sure she'll get the happy ever after she deserves.

WARNING: This book deals with open relationships in the club (sweetbutts), threesomes and voyeurism. The story contains violence, bad language as well as darker content some may find difficult to read.

OK, long story short… I wrote my original review yesterday based on my initial read that was after a few cocktails with my friends. I’m too lazy to rewrite it, so I’m leaving it all as is (review/rating), but I picked this back up and skimmed over it this am when I was lazing in bed… and I’ll just say it felt a smidge less kickass and more cringe. It’s very… Who are you—your worst nightmare vibe-y. (and there’re some editing issues) but is in KU if you have it.

****Original Review****
This was a quick mc read. It was alright, there wasn’t much to it. I didn’t read the first book, and I could feel that I was missing part of the story at times. It wasn’t super hard to follow along and figure out what happened, but I definitely don’t think these are supposed to be read as standalones with the MC stuff.

Cat meets Demon when she's 13 and visits her brother at his MC. She’s instantly drawn to him, but it’s not written yet that they’re attracted to each other TG cuz he’s 26. All that changed when she turns 18, but Demon is determined to push Cat away (too old, against the rules, too dark), but she has other plans.

I liked both main characters and I thought they were PERFECT for each other. Demon had demons and Cat was crazy.

Bottom Line- Super quick, nothing deep/no feels or angst, but I found it entertaining enough. (but I won’t continue it looks like the next one is a mess) I love a badass h.

3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK, or decent reads
=========================
"I'll never be yours, Cat. I'm a dirty, sick bastard with no need for an Old Lady, let alone a little girl who likes to play silly games."

A sharp pain pierced her heart as she watched the man who she held upon a pedestal for the past seven years climax in the whore's mouth just to prove a fucking point.

Gwenn leaned in and whispered, “Fuck him. If he doesn’t want you, he’s clearly not worthy of you.”

“I’m not making Cat my Old Lady. Not in a million years.”

Mentally checking out and going somewhere deep inside her mind could possibly be the only thing helping her survive this night. Oh, God. Let this be just one night.

“I’ve been waiting for you since forever. Please make love to me. I don’t care.”

I really liked how this book returned and covered the development of the relationship between Demon and Cat from the early days, bringing other events to life in the clubs history too.

My one downside is that through all this them actually getting together was left till the very end and so it felt a little rushed and abrupt when the book ended as it felt like not much had happened or been seen with them as a couple, in fact it’s pretty much only referred to and we don’t see them at all.

Despite this there is a fantastic build up and lots of favourite character interactions and I’m on tenterhooks awaiting Wolf to fall from his high horse in the next book.

Good read. It seemed drawn out in some places but missing information in others. We didn’t know she wanted to fight MMA it was just brought up from thin air. I loved Cat she was one tough woman. The shared sex aspect that was referred to was not there at all. Demon became annoying with his denial of feelings

I want to read the next to see what will happed

Some interesting action\suspense sequences proving whirlwind badass! So 3.5 stars of entertainment. Notable some confusion with time, ages and pronouns! He instead of She.😂 Mildly annoying, no biggie.
As for "infidelity"she maneuvered it to confront disingenuous club bunny....so that was odd.In any event, didn't quite intuit the pay off.She pushed her to give him BJ in front of her.He proceeded to make a point, presumably they won't work together although they have been dancing around each other for years.Afer crisis of her abduction...HEA!

"There’s only one girl for me, and that’s you. It’s always been you.”

Great MC story. Two alpha possessive main characters, one has been fighting it for years, the other knew what she wanted and dug in until she got it.

I love the entwined family dynamic of the IVMC and the blood families in Anna Castor's writing. It was there in Zeus with Gwenn's army family, her real family and then the MC as her family. You see it play out again in Demon's book: blood family, MC family, new family, old family, etc.

Cat is Demon's perfect match but that dope almost lost her before he even realized it. (.... and the sweetbutt scene in the present timeline-- GAH!)

Very much looking forward to the next three in this series since we got bits and pieces of their stories while waiting for Demon to get his head out of his rear.

--While you don't *have* to read the books in the series that come before this, I highly recommend it. It only makes the characters and their relationships better.--

The Iron Vikings will never be the same now that Cat has invaded their club. Once she spots Demon all bets are off. This author has delivered us a fantastic age gap story that pulls you in from the beginning and doesn't let go until the end and even then I wanted the story to keep going. Cat is a force to be reckoned with as a child and she only gets even more fierce and fiesty as she grows. Demon is somber, quiet and always has eyes peeled for trouble. Of course as the club Enforcer he'd have to. What he doesn't expect is for a mouthy, younger woman to worm her way into his heart after he's spent years trying to stay away from her. Demon and Cats story is exciting, chaotic and explosive to say the least. Can't wait for more from the Iron Vikings!

Age Gap MC Romance

Sometimes what you felt at age thirteen doesn’t change by the time you hit twenty-one. Cat was a young feisty girl who knew who she wanted and no one…not even he could tell her any different. Demon is the Enforcer for the Iron Viking MC and always has his eyes open and knows that some things just can’t happen. Now that Cat is of age, she is determined to get her man.

What a great age gap MC story that gives me everything I like in my MC books. I can’t wait to read Wolf’s story next.

Another excellent book in an excellent series! Cat and Demon have major chemistry and I have been waiting for it to boil over. And boil over it does! Super hot scenes. Lots of violence, so be warned if that’s a trigger for you. Cat is strong and a fighter- she holds her own. Demon knows she’s his. Great characters and world building. Fast action. Highly recommended. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

The saga of the IVMC continues! This episode focuses on the enforcer Demon and Cat. They have a significant age difference and the author shows us that anything worth having is worth waiting for.

If you choose to read this please note the trigger warnings. This book includes attempted rape, murder, and drug usage. It does however contain everything we love about MC stories!

Another great book in the Iron Viking series. The story follows the relationship between Cat and Demon. Cat is very determined, if impulsive in her pursuit of Demon which leads her into some tight corners.
A series that is well worth reading.

Loved it . Second part of this series . Couldn’t put this down up all night reading it . Demon the enforcer for the club meets a young girl he must protect and not to fall in love with thinking he isn’t good enough for her .

Loved this addition to the series. Anna Castor is an excellent writer. She builds great characters that you care about. This time it's Demon and Cat. There seems no hope that they will get together. I highly recommend this book.

Good

This book was well written, solid story and some very dark romance themes. I enjoyed it. In some ways I wish it were longer. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

I really liked the story. I liked that the mfc wasn't some whiny weak doormat. She may not have been very strong when it came to the LI. I wasn't too impressed with her attitude and impulsiveness at times and I kind of wanted her to make Demon work for it and grovel for how he treated her. Especially after that bar scene. It kind of made me mad at her for simping over him and I wanted her to get back at him a little and make him jealous and suffer a bit. I loved the relationship with the siblings on both sides. I would have liked more of a epilogue. The ending felt kind of abrupt and even though the plot/storyline may continue with the next couple in the next book it would have been nice to wrap this couples story up a bit more. All in all interesting read and I'll read the others in the series. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I had forgotten when this second book in the series was coming out and was so excited when it popped up in my inbox as a new release from an author I follow.

Thankfully I wasn't disappointed, it was everything I had a wanted from and for both Cat and Demon. Their darkness answers (and somehow balances) the others and is made even better when they both give in. And that first time they give in all the way, oh man is that spicy!!

My only "problem" is the book felt a smidge rushed and could have been a little longer. But that could just be me wanting more Demon ;)

Dark and Steamy

What a powerful MC Storyline that is over the top dark, kinky, and steamy. In this book we meet the Enforcer of the Iron Vikings, Demon and Cat, his love interest. This is an age gap romance that even though they are years apart they share in their love of blood, violence and vengeance. This is not a storyline for everyone but it is well constructed and the Club’s other members are more fleshed out so we get a feel of what’s coming next.

I’m recommending this book and the series for your reading enjoyment. This is book two. PEACE.

So I kinda love these two lunatics! Demon is all that is wrong in the world and Cat is so not playing with a full deck. So it should be no surprise that everything comes out wrong. Bad timing, wrong words, club bunnies and age gap. But no one ever said life was easy! Cat plays to win and she put in the time and played the long game to win!.

Okay read. Cat is one bad assed bitch. Demon got on my nerves. Sex with a dead guy in the room the first time is kinda icky. They don’t get together till the end. Age gap for sure still not sure how much because it seemed she aged and he didn’t. There is no sharing in this book I don’t know why it was eluded to in the description.

Will read the next

Great instalment in the IVMC series. Cat has waited 7 years to get under the enforcer of the club Demon, but Demon is having none of it. Brothers family are off limits, and Cat is her own kind of crazy. With the ongoing fueds and lockdown"s will these 2 get their chance to connect, and will Demon finally admit his true feeling?

Violence and danger come as part of club life will Demon let Cat in, or will he let another brother claim her, or better still let her walk away for good from everyone/everything she knows?

This book focuses on the Demon the enforcer and Cat and it’s an age gap trope. The book comes with trigger warnings for a reason, so be mindful of that. I liked how it portrays the development of the relationship between the main characters and the clubs history, but didn’t enjoy how them actually getting together was left to the very end. I’m looking forward to the next book, hopefully with Wolf and I recommend the read to all MC romance lovers.

Who cares about age when you meet the man you are destined to be with? If you are looking for a quick read this is for you! Demon and Cat have a lot of push and pull. It is not always better to push them away when in reality being together is work the risk. Can’t wait for the next book, wolf.

Brill.

I have been waiting on Demon’s book and it certainly did not disappoint.

Demon did frustrate me with the amount of times he pushed Cat away thinking he knew best. Silly man.

I love the different sides of the story of Zeus being president from the members points of view. Looking forward to Wolf’s story.

This is the story of Demon and Cat, two "alpha" characters from different backgrounds with an age gape but have a "darkness" within them. We see Demon struggling with an undeniable attraction towards each other.

Demon is complex; trying to do the right thing especially with a club member's family, the age gap and because he is an enforcer within the club environment. Cat is headstrong and feisty; earning her name of "whirlwind" and has always wanted Demon since she first met him at 14 years old. Castor does allow us to see deeper into both the characters and all is not what it seems - we see vulnerability, a need to find acceptance and allow themselves love. There is a "dark" side to both of them making them perfect for each other if they could get it together and see past the obstacles and survive the internal problems within the club and impending club war.

The story was really good read as was her other books on IVMC. I was hooked from the start with Cat's character - little miss dynamite! The "supporting cast" of characters was Castor's strength, they way she introduced them, how we see them and they support and interact with each other. I did find it all wrapped up and ended all of a sudden - a "whirlwind' end, which was in character with Cat.

The trigger warnings are; profanity, sex, violence, reference to drugs and rape, abuse, torture. The authoress in all fairness does warn you before the start of the book. I thought it would be a hard read because of the age difference at the start, totally shocked with Kat being 14 years old and I was going to stop reading but keep reading, it covers years until she is of 'legal consensual age'.

I was kindly given this book to read as an ARC by the authoress through BookSirens, free in return for my honest review.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. This is my own opinion and was not influenced by anyone.

This is Demon's story. He's the man even the men in the club fear. His love is an age gap romance. He is older than Cat. She has had a crush on Demon from the age of 13. Now finally 21 she is going to get her man. However the rival MC that has former members of the IVMC is back to seek revenge.

Demon knows he has a dark soul. He is the club's enforcer and he enjoys his work. Cat's nickname given by the club is Whirlwind. It fits her well. She is a MMA fighter. When trouble comes for her, she fights them well and protects her friends. She plans her fights against her attacker well. I love Cat's fortitude.

The age gap in this book is not an issue. While Demon is interested he will not touch her until she is legal and even then he warns her away from his darkness. Until she is taken and then he realizes what he wants and needs. Their darkness is definitely a part of their love affair. It is written well so that it is believable. I do wish we knew a bit more about Demon's youth and what brought him to the MC. We are given ins on the characters but the author has much more to reveal what truly makes the characters tick.

The action takes a while to build through the story. This slow build did lock me into the story, needing to know the outcome. In order for the war with the rival to make sense, I feel it is necessary to read all previous books but not required. The rival MC is still around to cause more future problems. I will definitely be continuing this series.

I enjoy a good MC novel, and Demon is a guilty pleasure read for anyone who also enjoys the genre.

The second in Castor's Iron Vikings MC series, this book covers the life of club enforcer Demon and his club brother's sister, Cat.

We get a classic forbidden relationship/age-gap romance!

Castor created a good framework for the story, but at times the story feels a tad rushed. I like the time leaps and alternating POVs but would have appreciated just a little more insight into Demon & Cat's development, separate from one another. I also wish Devlin was a little more present - he's there in the story but sometimes seems emotionally absent.

Cat is a firecracker and Demon is truly a loyal and upstanding character in a world where it's easy to be violent and corrupt.

Demon grew up in an abusive home, left for dead at age 10, and taken in by the local Iron Vikings MC president, Annas Doukas. Now he's the enforcer of the club, the violence required to do his job is the only way to battle the darkness inside him. Until a club brother brings his young sisters to the clubhouse. Even at 13, Cat is a daredevil and there's something about her that draws his protective instincts. Ever since, Cat had an untameable crush, but Demon is much older and doesn't believe he can ever love anyone, much less take her as his Old Lady. But when club business puts Cat in danger, he's the first one to the rescue.
I liked the story itself but the lack of editing was a bit distracting. The characters were intriguing however and kept me interested to find out what would happen next.
